[ LFP ] [ 5E ] [ FREE ] [ AEDT ] AUSTRALIA / NEW ZEALAND | Homebrew One-Shot Noobs & Veterans Welcome

Sup, I have never played with random online people before, so I wanted to give it a try. I have been a Dungeon Master for just under 3 years and am looking to increase my skill. About the Dungeon Master: 21M 3 Years experience over 6 different games I dig a bit of anime ( I'm not too weeb though ) and some JRPGs, which influence my style somewhat I like creating interesting combat 3000+ Roll20 hours The One-Shot: The setting takes place in a homebrew expanded universe between myself and 2 other Dungeon Masters, so you will see some other things in the Journal but they are not important. You and the other Player Characters are sent on a mission by the Ministry of Defense to investigate the neighbouring country to the north, as there has been a sudden outbreak of some sort of sleeping disease. You are the second team, as only 1 person from the first team had come back, failing. You will use what little information the guy who escaped grabbed to solve the mystery. The Ministry of Defense is reluctant to send a full force, because they suspect an enemy country is using this as a diversion to attack the main central country, but they cannot ignore the northern country any longer. As such, you will be better equiped than the first guys. What I Expect From Players: If you think your attitude fits into /r/RPGHorrorstories then go away lol Noobs welcome Online dnd noobs welcome Veterans welcome No intense-intense gore and it will be fade to black ( though this is very unlikely to pop up anyway ) Voice required, though video is not - probably going to use Discord No flaming No PvP, unless you're looking to make a cool emotional scene idk, no "real" PvP No dumb shit like raping NPCs or other PCs Mechanics: Most homebrew and UA will be allowed, if you've been wanting to try some cool thing this is the game for you. Though, this won't be a war-game type of game Starting level 5 Mystic is banned Chaotic Evil is banned We'll be playing with some homebrew added rules, such as extra damage types ( nothing too whack dw ) and you can read all of those once I accpet you, there's a help section in the Journal Tab METRIC. I PLAY WITH METRIC. Though, you dont have to convert or play metric when describing / asking anything, I can do it on the fly. There's also a nice little conversion table in the Journal Tab as well Game will likely be 4-6 hours. 3 SPOTS AVAILABLE. I might allow a 5th player, if they're you brother / sister or something like that, best friend yadda yadda. Hello,  I am interested in trying out your one shot, I have been waiting to play something with an Horror theme. Do you have an idea on when you would hold the game? (Day/Time) Age: 33 Gender / Pronouns: Male / He / Him D&D 5E Experience: I have played in 5 sessions so far (2 one shot and 3 in campaign). Just started playing in February Roll20 Experience: every game so far has been in Roll20, so just one month A Little Bit About You: Recently got started on DnD, but I always was interested in playing (fan of RPG/JRPG video games). I also play a lot of board games, 1-2 times a week (specially Blood Bowl, Warcry and TI4). I tend to prefer physical damage character in most of my games, or some sort of Hexblade (not much of a caster kind of guy). Character idea: There are a lot of characters I would like to try out, for now I am mostly interested into an Artificier Warforged ,  Goblin/Kobold Ranger or Minotaur Paladin.
