Hey there, I'm Josh, and I am very new to D&D. I've read the rules and still don't quite understand everything there is to it, but the idea of playing D&D has been on my mind for a very long while, and despite the beginner's anxiety and learning curve, I want to give it a shot. About me: I'm 18 years old and am currently attending college to become an English teacher. I do stand-up comedy, have a YouTube channel, and have been roleplaying via text for years, and yet never dabbled with D&D until today. I will try my best to be engaged and will come into the group with a very basic but studied knowledge of the game, likely using one of the premade characters from a guide, and will try my best to be as involved and active in the world the DM creates.
