Chat editing

I was sighing at yet another typo I made while typing to my players, and thinking to myself "why can't I just edit that?" I can do this in Discord and on Google Chat and it would be nice to able to do it in roll20 chat. Thanks!
You may want to cancel your vote here and add it (and your comments!) to this suggestion instead: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1619233/allow-the-gm-to-delete-a-line-in-the-chat-text which already has (at the time of this post) 457 votes.
Thanks! I'll give you a vote, too. Can you clarify though that it's only deleting a line and not fully editing the line (which would include delete)? I need delete far less often than editing for typos or clarity, I'm a very fast typist (too fast!).
That's why I suggest you add your use case to the thread there. Others in the thread have mentioned the idea of editing text beyond just deleting.
No worries. I couldn't find your thread by typing in exactly what I wanted -- chat editing -- so I'm going to leave this one here as more ways to direct others to it. That's why I made this post in the first place!
