Minotaurs are one of the most complex races in Everland.     In the distant past they were the direct descendants of the gods, they acted as servants and emissaries of the various pantheons.   Where these great creatures went, so did the voice and decrees of the gods go.  In their arrogance the Minotaurs felt they were the gods equal and should no longer serve but should be rule beside the gods.  The Minotaurs were cast out.     Many of the Minotaurs turned to savagery and fled into the wilds to live like animals hunting anything that dared enter their domain.   The rest gathered and founded Mullasuna and within it the great arena.  It was here that they rebuilt their civilization.   Mullasuna is land based upon a litany of laws based around honor.  To the Minotaurs, there exist nothing greater than their honor.   Honor is a complex thing to understand.  To fully embrace honor is to know the Minotaur race.   Honor among the Minotaurs have many tenets a few of them are: 1)No Minotaur can kill or harm another Minotaur outside of defending another or an honorable duel.   Minotaurs for the same reason should never accept the any breech of honor by any lesser races. 2)Minotaurs respect strength in all forms.  This includes intelligence and wit.   Strength of mind is just as admirable as strength of body.   3)There is no honor to bullying lesser races.   Though any disrespect by a non-Minotaur race requires satisfaction, similarly, not treating such races honorable begets personal dishonor. 4)Any Minotaur reduced to slavery should be freed.    If one of our races is enslaved, we are all enslaved.    5)Any challenge of honor made can and should be answered in the great arena, if such is not possible then it should be directed in accordance to proven rules of engagement.   These rules of honorable combat are not always applicable to non-Minotaur.   Answering of disrespect between such lesser races is answered in a quick and efficient manner that will usually leave the offending person or persons injured or dead. 6)It is the duty of the strong to protect the weak. There are two major gods of Minotaurs are pictured as siblings (depending on who you ask), Mahrzis and Nokeas. Mahrzis is often seen as a statuesque female minotaur warrior.  Followers of Mahrzis are often the most levelheaded of the Minotaurs.    Mahrzis has the same domains as Athena is an aspect of Athena. Nokeas - often seen as a huge male Minotaur. Followers of Nokeas revel in wanton destruction and war. They live for battle and have little care for truces of peace. They feel that peace makes one weak. Constant war is the only way to purify the Minotaur bloodlines and cause only those that are worthy to pass on their heritage. Nokeas is an aspect of Ares. Feral Minotaurs worship Syrtruk, god of fire and destruction.   They feel that the world is ending therefore their job is to hasten its destruction.  It is through their god's purifying fire that a new world will be brought forth. Players may choose to play either civilized Minotaurs or Feral Minotaurs.    Feral Minotaurs have the Feral template and very anti-social, the do not follow the rules of honor and are a bane to most civilizations.     Civilized Minotaurs will often engage and combat feral ones on sight.      The culling of such creatures is  seen as a great honor since the very existence of feral Minotaurs is counterproductive to the acceptance and respect of Mullasuna as a kingdom.
