No longer able to save character while art is uploading

I discovered today that the "save changes" button when editing a character is now greyed out while art is uploading (where you could previously save the character and the art would finish uploading in the background). Is this a bug, and if not, why was it changed? It may seem petty, but this change completely screws up my GM prep workflow (where I use the often annoyingly long upload time for art to set up the next character's token), and it also seems like a completely unnecessary change.

You might want to report that in the Character Sheet Update thread , I suspect the new character sheet system might be prioritizing. I have notice that if I do a Compendium drag and close the window before letting it finish, the token setup does not resolve completely. It may be related.
