Great books hide their secrets well. Candlekeep attracts scholars like a flame attracts moths. Historians, sages, and others who crave knowledge flock to this library fortress to peruse its vast collection of books, scribbled into which are the answers to the mysteries that bedevil them. Many of these books contain their own mysteries—each one a doorway to adventure. Dare you cross that threshold? Welcome to my take on Candlekeep Mysteries Starting level 1 I encourage playing UA and homebrew Why are you running a payed game? I played DnD for over 10 years as a DM exclusively. Went to conventions, local game centers and really enjoy the game. When i am in the game i give my best to my players, constantly preparing the new best thing so they can become invested even more in the world I try to build for them. But I can't spend that much time when i could be going to work, thats why i decided to put a small fee for my games, just so I could handle the basic expenses of running it. The other reason is simply based on experience. Throughout most of my games I found that the ones with people actually getting through the module are the groups with a small fee put behind it. While not overwhelming, it proves that people get invested and gets a higher chance of finishing the campaign.
