Stop Thrandrumir

The dragon was an incredible challenge, but we had managed to defeat it. Both Sedriss and I were nearly killed in that battle, and at that time, I thought if we were doing the right thing. We were actively trying to destroy a dragon, to usurp my bother and obtain the throne to Clan Soldarak. We began our journey back to Soldarak holdings, when Thrandrumir, accompanied by zombified giants and a posse of Daelkyr agents, proved to one, once and for all, where my bothers allegiances lie. He has fully betrayed the clan. He doesn't even pretend to use the Daelkyr as weapons against the Mror Holds ancient enemies. Thrandrumir is lost. Thrandrumir is corrupted. Thrandrumir must be stopped and the Clan must be restored to its place of honor.
Dear diary, Long time no write but I have a moment so here goes. We were able to get past   Zirit and her children but it was so very close. I really thought we wouldn't all make it, especially Sedris and Thornduk. I myself was about 1 angry look from falling when it all ended. We then took a brief rest and headed back with the dragon head. I did get a bit of the best treasure ever, a Bowl of Commanding Water Elementals! I named it Wet Willy but once he gets is first confirmed kill I think I may change its name. Sedris really appears to like it though so maybe I'll keep it. On are way back we did face another hurdle, Thrandrumir with some of his Dalkyr backers and some zombified giants. After Zirit and her children, we held our own and this was no different. I feel bad for Thornduk, I really think he wished somehow he would be able to convince Thrandrumir to step aside and see his way out of the madness he is in bed with. Maybe I will steal something for him. I haven't stolen anything in what feels like an eternity, this Mab debt has been all-consuming, always in my head. I know that debt needs to be paid and I am prepared to do so and that’s why I think I am going to live the rest of my time to the fullest while I can.
We pulled it off.  I don't know how we did it, but we killed the dragon.  It seemed as if everytime I healed someone, the dragon took them down again.  Since I was immune to cold, I was trying to get it to focus on me.  I did get it to waste it's breath weapon on me though Tari got hit as well.  It seemed to get her mad and the Eldrich Blasts kept flying.  Gippity threw fireballs and Velios attacked from the shadows.  And Sedriss and Thornduk went toe to toe with the old gal.  we found some treasure.  Nothing I really needed.  Velliios seems to be pleased with his elemental bowl.  We should figure out the best way to use it with my conjured elementals.  He got to use it too.  When leaving the mountains we came upon Throndomir and his dalkyr servants.  Somehow Dyrrn gave him the power to summon a beholder.  I wonder if this is the same beholder Gnippity banished earlier.  If so, it wasn't his day.  Tari put him to sleep and when he woke up, I blinded him with a Sunbeam.  I like this new spell.  It's like shooting rays of Sunlight.  We defeated the minions and Thrandomir ran away.  Hopefully this secures Thornduk's hold on the throne, but I doubt we've seen the last of Thrandomir or Dyrrn.  when did I get to be such a pessimist..  Now to deliver the dragon head to the dwarves and then on to deal with Sedriss's and maybe Vellios's problems.
Scratch 1 more bad guy from the world. We took Zirit out, and not only that, we engaged thrandumir and some mind flayer allies. chalk up 2 more mind flayers and we took out a beholder. Anyway now all we gotta do is get back to the main soldaric place, and give thornduk the throne. Being so close to home is making me think about what is going on with me. I have put it off for a while now but sometime soon I have to face the music there. We'll see what happens.  Sedriss out
Gnipity's log. We seem to be making a bad habit of fighting dragons. Definitely not good for my health. In other news, you ever think beholders have too many eyes? I do, I had a lot of time to think about it while I was stuck, (note to self: invent un-sticking spell) Would not work, need to move, perhaps a small, unsticking companion, or maybe just another fireball, that seems to solve most problems.  I spent a lot of effort keeping that thing banished, it seemed somewhat inconsiderate for Thrandumir to bring him back. Banishing is definitely not a permanent solution, but I have yet to meet someone who's been able to outsmart a disintegration ray.  Anyway hopefully the storm takes care of Thrandumir and that's the last we see of him. My gut tells me otherwise though Gut talking is never a good sign, I wonder what Sedriss has been feeding us.
