lagging responsiveness...

Ive been trying to run stuff for my GF and lately on roll20 on her laptop everything is slowed way down...even typing in chat the letters appear bout 1 ever 1.5 seconds and its making everything impossible to play. I had thought it was autofill for firefox so i turned that off and its still just as bad. It does not happen when on the internet..she does video chats with her friend and watches netflix perfectly fine. Its just in roll20 it happens. Does anyone have a clue whats goin on?
i turned off autofill and all that as well...assuming that was it, but nope...no change.

Should probably work through the troubleshooting steps. <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Solving_Technical_Issues" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Solving_Technical_Issues</a>
Can someone give a response that is not a link to technical stuff. I'm the player having issues and I don't get half this stuff. Thanks. :)

Hi Kefrem and Rain-and-Thunder! This sort of lag is not normal, so we can try and look for a root cause. Some things to try: Are you on a VPN? (if you don't know, the answer is probably no) Try running the game in a private browsing window (Cmd/Ctr-Shift-P on Firefox). You will need to log into Roll20 again in that window, but it can eliminate a lot of conflicts with browser plugins and extensions. Are you in France, Germany, Russia or China? I have heard problems from each of these countries in the last year, usually due to the user's ISP. Can you both try connecting in brand new, empty game? This can eliminate a problem that ight be due to the specific game.
This worked great , the Ctr-Shift-P thing, dunno why but as soon as I did this all the lag vanished. Thank you so much. XD keithcurtis said: Hi Kefrem and Rain-and-Thunder! This is usually an indicator that you have a browser extension that is conflicting, like an ad blocker, antivirus, vpn, or some other gateway-type add on.
hmmm we will look into that.
