People showing up in my "recently played a game with" list that I don't know?

I got a spam message that I reported, then I went to my profile to see if there was a way to turn off message from people I don't know. While I was doing that, I noticed two people on my "recently played with" list that I don't recognize. I don't recognize their names or their icons and they don't show up in any games I was playing. I'm going to block them and change my pw to be safe, but just an FYI because I don't know what's going on at this point. If I had ever played a game with them wouldn't it show up? I've only got like 4 games total and neither of these people show up in them.

It use to be that if you joined a game/group, you usually had them all show up as recently played with. Not sure if that is still the way it is. Did you join a very large group such as a westward march or living world game or a community like game/group?

The recently played with thing is pretty buggy.  I wouldn't worry about it.  It will frequently show you former players from a game you're currently in.  People who are no longer in the game and who don't show up as members on the game page.  I guess it doesn't want them to be forgotten.

Ok thanks guys. I definitely don't remember those player names, but I am in one group that's pretty big. Maybe they were in the group previously or something. I've only been in the four games that I am in now, so it's definitely weird.

As Jesse mentions, don't worry about it. The spam message stuff, yeah report the heck out of it. Roll20 team takes spammers very serious and try to do everything they can to keep them out. The more stuff is reported, the better it usually gets.

Based on the forum posts in my search, the recently played with list was broken as far back as 6 years ago and as recently as this thread. I've had people I don't recognize in my list for as long as I've had an account, and I have not joined large groups. Also, people I play with frequently do not show up. This makes it impossible to gift non-wishlisted packs to my DM that doesn't show in my list since you can't just type in a name.
