'Confirm' mechanic for dice rolls

Our group handles d20s in a somewhat odd way - if someone crits (either success or fail), they roll to confirm. If *that* is a crit, they roll again, and so forth until they no longer crit. Each roll feeds into 'how severely did you epically succeed/fail'. It would be really helpful if the dice roller added support for confirmation rolls, both the (more often seen) single-confirmation and our group's cascading confirmation. By analogy to exploding dice, maybe use ? and ?? postfixes - so single-confirm would be 1d20? and cascading would be 1d20??. This also looks appropriately questioning/incredulous as to the likelihood of such a roll :P. There would also need to be a way to display the results - summing like exploding dice wouldn't work here. Maybe the original crit, an arrow, and the confirmation result? For cascading, it might be best to just add more stages - my first thought was a 'repeat count' in the middle, but then I realized it could crit either direction on the confirmations and then the notation would be ambiguous. Thank you for your time!
It's a bit of a work-around, and not precise, but you can do "/r d20!kl1+@mod." This will roll d20s, keep only the lowest for numerical comparison, but display the total number of dice rolled, without adding in all the extra 20s.
