Process of creating a compendium for a new system with content?

I just submitted a sheet that was accepted for a new system that I'm working on and actively playtesting. I've read that compendium creation is complex and time consuming, though I'm willing to put the time in to learn how and to implement a compendium, and plan to eventually release module content on Roll20 with the system. I'm trying to figure out the process for starting the work on one. I would be fine if the compendium was fairly basic to start, then could add drag and drop functionality later on as the system and numbers become more finalized. I started by reading this thread: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7878106/slug%7D Comments are from about a year ago, so I'm wondering if anything has changed since. If it's any easier or doable for an individual. I also read an OGL is required, and am wondering if a Creative Commons license would also be acceptable. I also read this guide which alludes to something about being selected by the Roll20 team as a Compendium Editor. But I'm not sure what process I need to do for that. Should I just email Roll20 about starting the thing up? https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7878106/slug%7D Also read through this guide, which seems pretty clear on how to edit a compendium, but not how to get started having the option to edit in the first place. https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/articles/360037773333-Modules-Addons-ArtPacks-Compendiums#Modules/Addons/ArtPacks/Compendiums-BuildingACompendiumManually It looks pretty doable based on the above guide. So just wanted to check here before emailing Roll20 in case there's something I'm missing. Or if I should just get the game copyrighted first, and then email Roll20. And if I do need to get a copyright, does that pretty much rule out using a compendium for playtesting? Since mechanics may change between now and the final version? Thanks for your time.

Compendium creation is currently only available to Roll20 staff and publishers that have arranged for compendium access with Roll20. I'd recommend emailing team@roll20.net to get the process started.
