New Player D&D 5e

I'm looking for any 5e games for new players to get my feet wet. I haven't played since 1e and never online. I'm a quick learner and it shouldn't take me long to get up to speed. I have already found someone who is running some one off games with the starter kit adventure and will be joining one of those. But, I'm still interested in other one off games and eventually find a weekly game. If anyone else is in the same situation maybe we can join together and find a DM.
I'm in the same position. Got a week and a half almost entirely free (no work and wife out of the country) so any timezone works for now.
I would be willing to play as well if you guys would have me i'm very interested in 5e.
finding games for new players has been so hard for me as well. I have only played 3 games of pathfinder total and am itching to try some other RPs out yet can't find one that works for noobs and my time availability

Hey guys, I DM a D&D 5e/Next game on Wednesday nights and we're looking for another player or two. We play weekly and use Skype for voice chat, so I'm looking for a weekly commitment. (Weekly on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. CST, that's Chicago time). We're only two sessions into the campaign and the PCs have just made level 2, so your character would start at level 2. We have four active players besides myself as the fifth hasn't attended either session. The group could really use a Wizard. Here's a link to the campaign. We have a session tonight but I'd most likely look to add new characters to the game next week, but you're more than welcome to join the session tonight and meet everyone and observe our play style. Shoot me a PM if you are interested and we'll see what we can work out. New players are welcome as we were all new at one time or another. Edit: I've got three players lined up to observe tonight and that's my limit. I don't want to disrupt my regular players too much. So right now my game is full up.
It looks like there will be a few of us trying to find some games and/or campaigns. Hopefully we can find other players and DMs in this thread. I will also let the DM who is doing some starter kit one off sessions know about this thread.

I created a campaign I'll invite you all to, we can just discuss things there further for now. https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/453159/d-and-d5e-newbie
Sounds good.
I'm joining Aladar's campaign. Feel free to use this thread to look for sessions if you are a new player looking for a 5e game. I'm still up for some one off sessions as well.
Are you guys just playing with the next material? or running the starter box? Still 6 weeks til PHB is released.
Just chiming in here - I am available a lot for the next couple of weeks, and am looking (as a player) to get some D&D 5th ed testing in (even though there is little released). I am happy to join in on 1 shots or even the starter adventure (as I haven't seen it yet). Have used roll 20 for a number of things, done a fair bit of Next testing (as well as other RPGs and D&D 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3.5, small amount of 4th) - have mic, skype, mature etc. Just send me a pm if you have a spot, or may want someone as a "backup". Happy to fill "roles" if parties feel that they are lacking in a mechanic, as long as there is "role play".
Can I get an invite to your newbie group? I'm a really inexperienced DM (and role-player in general) but I wouldn't mind running the starter set with some other new players.
Can I also get an invite? New to 5E, but played 2nd and a little 4E.
