Some of the Monsters from the Monster Manual will not populate when I drag and drop them into my game. I am using the 5E by Roll 20 sheet. Some monsters work, others, like dragons, do not. I get a blank token, no stats.
I figured it out, although it is still an issue. In one example, I wanted to place a Young Green Dragon, but the adventure I was running had a journal entry called "The Green Dragon Inn". I renamed that and it then allowed me to drag and drop that green dragon. I had to change the name of some other handouts and notes that came with the adventure I bought to be able to add other monsters. It's still an issue, IMO.
That is odd behavior. A handout name should not conflict with a character name. And certainly not if it were not a direct match. Otherwise you would have an issue between "Goblin" and "Goblin Boss".
Hmm. It's not normal behavior. Without rolling up my sleeves and diving into your game*, I'm at a loss to explain it. *Yeah, I mix metaphors like a pro.
I'm also having this issue. I can place some tokens just fine but others come up blank. Edit: It seems like tokens have been removed from random(?) MM1 entries.
There is another thread where this was examined pretty thoroughly. The greatest likelihood is that the way that sheets are imported now takes another second to fully resolve. Make sure not to close the character sheet window too soon. For tokens you have brought in that are not fully resolved, delete any local copies and try again, giving that extra second. Post again if this did not resolve the issue.
