Price match vs. Fantasy Grounds?

Hi! I"m a pro subscriber and wanted to ask about a price match policy. I got the attached advertisement from Kobold Press today, and wondered if you'd honor the same 20% discount for purchasing all three books? Thanks, Shawn

To my knowledge, Roll20 has never had a sale on anything. This is unlikely to be matched.
They had $20 off promo pricing on the 5E PHP when they first released it, but that's the only sale I recall.

I don't remember that, but that's not to say it didn't happen. I know they've had permanent price reductions .
Roll20's prices are close to retail, Foundry and Fantasy Grounds are less than half that.

Foundry sells the Kobold Press books above?
I doubt it. I don't see them on Foundry's premium product page. They don't even sell 5E licenses so I doubt they have much in the way of supplementary material.
I was hoping that making this post would garner a reply from Roll20 vs the community. I do appreciate the community responding with their assumptions (no price match). I want Roll20 to say the words that they won't (or will). Is there a better venue to ask for a direct response? The pro forum? Maybe open a support ticket? Any advice welcome! I'd suggest a support ticket and an email.

Shawn Shawn, nice name for starters. As Danielle said, Roll20 does not offer discounts on licensed content or on creator's content in the marketplace and they've said this multiple times. You're more than welcome to raise a ticket for an official response, but my understanding is that they are already inundated with tickets and that is adding burden to an already taxed system that is better suited to dealing with technical issues that users are experiencing. Here are two links containing statements from Roll20 Employees explaining their pricing and their lack of sales: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9905613/candlekeep-mysteries-outrageous-pricing/?pageforid=9907316#post-9907316 https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7484717/does-bundles-ever-happen-and-do-they-go-on-sale/?pageforid=7485136#post-7485136 Hope this helps!
Hey Shawn! Thanks for checking in and for playing with us on Roll20! Happy to chime in as an official Roll20 team member. To confirm what others have mentioned, we don't offer any price matching on Marketplace offerings. We don't generally do sales as we're invested in creating healthy models for digital distributors that doesn't result in a race to the bottom. We are absolutely in favor of permanently adjusting prices for the market in ways that help set healthy precedent - ultimately any price adjustments on Kobold Press items offered on the Roll20 Marketplace would be a cooperation between Roll20 and Kobold Press as the publisher. Essentially, we want to ensure that creators and contractors are paid a fair amount for their work. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
