Question about the Compendium

Hi, I own the physical copy of Savage World Adventure Edition, and when I wanted to try the Compendium for my games, as I think it would be easier for my games in the future. But I noticed I had to buy it again in order to use it. So I need to know, do we really need to buy the Compendium for Roll20, or is there a way for me to prove that I own it physically so I can use it? If there isn't it's okay, thank you in advance for answering :)

AFAIK, Roll20 have no deal with any publisher to give people free copies of a Roll20 compendium just bc you own the physical book. I know Roll20 & Pazio have a deal for getting a discount on the PF2E core books if you own the pdf or Roll20 version, but that's an exception. A reasonable comparison would be to say that owning the physical book doesn't automatically give you free access to the audiobook version of it (and it's likely produced trough an intermediary).
