In case it isn't obvious to all of you from Shannon's post above, this thread was started to help OP, Flynn, find a new group to play with, so anyone who can help with that should definitely post here about that specific need of OP . Thank you.
just to clarify for everyone and the admins of this community; The last GM I had wasn't anyone from this cyberpunk community or any other community, it was just some random GM I found running Cyberpunk RED
Flynn, I am sorry to hear that you had issues in your last game. It does happen when groups don't mesh and can become toxic to one another based on player or GM styles. There are plenty of groups in the community that will surely take you in, what sort of character are you looking to play? Any particular style of Red Game you are looking for? Maybe high RP or More combat focused? I tend to follow some of Mike Pondsmith's old recommendations and use rules as a guide but don't live by them to "Religiously". It tends to give the players a bit more freedom of play while giving me room to open my world a bit more, this can also be a bit frustrating to players if they are not used to it. I would definitely be sure you share your playing style up front with the GM so that he/she/them can help to insert you into the game with minimal effort. I would also be prepared for Novice GM's as well as GMs that have a particular style. Unfortunately, I am not currently running a game, but I do have plans to get back at it in the near future. DM me any information about your character, style of play and direction you see your character going and I will talk with our players to see about getting the game back up and running.
