Poor music quality

Hey folks, I have a bunch of mp3 files that have been compressed professionally (they're downloaded from artlist). The original files sound perfectly fine. However, after uploading them to Roll20 all the bass and dynamic range has disappeared from the songs, they sound incredibly tinny. My question is: - If Roll20 is heavily compressing my audio then why does the original filesize count towards my quota? Because in that case I'm getting fleeced. - If Roll20 is NOT compressing my audio, then why does it sound like the original file went through a crappy compression algorithm? If anyone wants an original file to test you can find it here: https://we.tl/t-nrTiv9VG6z Any advice would be appreciated! :)

I will run the test. Downloading from your WeTransfer, ChaosattheSpace.mp3 I'll try to test a side-by-side listening comparison sometime today, later today.
Appreciate it! :)
Roll20's best practices page says all audio files uploaded are converted to the Opus codec at 96khz, regardless of source. Not sure how Opus compares to mp3 on terms of file size.
Are you using Safari? I have heard about sound problems with uploaded audio in Safari. Even if you are not using Safari, does this happen in both Chrome and Firefox?
