How did we get to this forest?

I found him! I never thought I would have found him, but I did. The King, don't know about the king, but the dragonborn promised not to hurt me. I like him. I will protect him. We travelled on an airship, it was scary. I didn't quite manage to look over the edge. I didn't want to fall. We walked up a temple to the flame, I don't really remember why, but this felt very important to me. These words keep repeating in my mind " In the lost city when Lords dream of madness, the Dragon Prophecy will arise. To end the Doom, one must open the Tomb." We started the journey, I'm not really sure what we are doing, but I know that I need to help Sedriss, and he asked me to protect the others. I'm really not very good at that though, I hope I don't let them down. We found stinky undead that we were able to quickly destroy them. Then some sandy creatures and chained angels of some kind. The little guy did some neat things, trapping them inside some sort of wall. I don't think he likes me. I don't remember where we are going, but I feel like I can trust Sedriss. Perhaps he can help me.
Having decided to help Thorduk's clan by finding a hoard of dragonshards, we arrived at the city of the Dragonborn and Sedriss was sent to the temple to have his fate determined.  He was sent on a quest to an old city in the forest.  We picked up a straggler, a guy named Alon or something like that.  He's a bit messed up in the head but one hell of a fighter.  As we navigated our way through the woods, we found a bunch of undead standing in our way.  twice.  We were able to take out the first group.  The second group had these sand ghouls who almost ended us before we had a chance to respond.  Now we need a place to rest and heal.  I have begun to love my sunbeam spell and get a thrill from destroying the undead.  It gets me wondering about the silver flame.  Am I cut out to be a cleric?  I may have to talk to Alon about that.  He seems to know something about the Silver Flame.
Well, that went about as well as it could have.  Returning home has... well, hurt a lot. When I first left I was desperate to return, not anymore. Sure they still fight for good, and all that, but I dunno, it has lost some of it's novelty for me. Regardless the spirit gave me a mission as my sentence, I am to find the lost city, and defeat whatever evil is rising up there. Pretty coincidental as we were planning on doing the same thing while prospecting. The spirit said it was my "Destiny" what the hell does that mean. Am I to meet my end trying to redeem myself here? If so, let it be, I knew coming back could be a one way trip, but no one else dies for my mistakes, I'll make sure of that. Also met a new guy Adon, sounds like the beginning of a song awe using to sing at prayer, anyway he seems to be on the up and up, maybe he can help make sure we do what we need to do. He is afraid of me for some reason though, I am not sure why. regardless we are presently resting having fought a bunch of undead a little while ago. If I survive this mission, I will have to reconsider what I am doing here. Anyway looks like we're getting ready to move out.
Saying goodbye to Thornduk was tough. It was the first time in what was probably months but feels like much longer that he hadn't been accompanying us on our journey, but it was definitely more important for him to lead his people. I don't trust most of those dwarves who stayed back with him, but Thornduk has proved himself capable in the past, so I'm sure he'll figure it out. I hope. A new guy joined us -- Adon. Something seems fishy about him, and I know fishy, I'm practically king fish (I probably would've been had I not lost to that stupid trout in the trial by combat, but that's a story for a different day). He seemed meek and unassuming at first, but when we fought the undead in the jungle he was a blur of light and magic that left their ranks decimated. There seems to be more than one person living in that head of his, and I like to know who exactly it is that will be fighting at my side and more importantly, walking at my back. Higher beings tend to have agendas of their own, and those who follow them can usually justify doing just about anything so long as their lord commands it. Nevertheless, his presence seemed to have a positive effect on our party, and a negative effect on the undead. I may very well have died at their hands were it not for the protection of him and Tabitha. This jungle has some dark energy about it, and I have my fears about who is waiting at the end given what I know about these dragonborn and the Silver Flame. We barely survived our last encounter and as we flee through the jungle I can't help but feel we may be jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.
