Talking Lizard-Cat Thing is Weird I go back to castle that not actually abandoned again. I leave Fluffy Bob home this time because he need tiny bunny armour before go play with goblins. I no want Bob to be lonely outside in bush whole time so he stay home with Ghargh mom and dad. They play nice and love Fluffy Bob too. Ghargh happy to adventure again with new friend Sarina but this time is new, weird friend that look like lizard but purr like kitty. I had to watch tents with her and she just cry and ask all sorts of weird questions and make weird noises. She ask me if she feels special. I touch her face. She not feel special. She feel like lizard. Then she ask if her insides feel special so I stuck my finger in her nose. No feel special. Just feel slimy boogers. I don't know what she think she feel like. She don't feel like fuzzy cat but she make noise that rattle like one. After she ask me poke her SHE TRY TO GO TO SLEEP! NO! I tell her, "No sleep! We watch tents!" What wrong with her? She cry. She want finger in nose. She want to not do her job. Ghargh move to other side fire to watch her. I glad Fluffy Bob at home. Lizard-cat get funny look when hear of Fluffy Bob. I no trust her. Next day we get to not-abandoned goblin castle. This time goblin creatures try to fool us by hide in behind walls but we see them. Spider-lady climb walls. Spider-lady cool. Not scary like spider cause look like woman, but woman that climb up walls like spider. I like watch spider-lady climb because is funny and forgot to fight. But is ok. Sarina run in and kill stuff. I come when big blue guy need help. Hahaha....Blue.... Oh. Sarina think not funny things funny. I don't know why. Little goblin in silly hat tell Sarina something and Sarina fall on ground laughing. We fighting and Sarina just laugh and laugh and roll on ground holding stomach and laugh. THIS NOT COMEDY CLUB SARINA!!! Goblin joke not even funny. "Hey, look at blue guy!", that funny. Goblin joke? Not funny. Then goblin say something to other friend Teres and Teres fall on ground next to Sarina and laugh. WHY? IS NOT FUNNY YOU GUYS!!! No know why think Goblin funny but Ghargh put rags in ears so no more listen bad jokes. We kill unfunny goblin and finally they stop laughing. Sarina get up and yell, "IT NOT EVEN FUNNY!", which no make sense. If no think funny then why laugh and no fight Sarina? Sarina lies. She like bad jokes. My dad tell bad jokes. They should be friends. Oh, there was also naked goblin we give food and fat guy's medicine too. Maybe Sarina take fat guy medicine and that why she laugh. There also goblin blacksmith like me! He make good armour. He have helmet with no eye holes so eyes no get hurt and curve sword thing so you stab in back while still in front. Why Ghargh no think this? I need bring him metal and maybe we be friends and make things together. We also find coins and dead goblins give us lots things to sell. Oh and demon bird with babies in tower. And ghost named Morty. And castle have many leaders. One talks to evil god in skull. We leave all them alone. Now Ghargh can buy stuff to make Fluffy Bob own armour and maybe a saddle! Fluffy Bob going be so excited!!!
Glorious!
Just.... wow... love it

Alexandria's Journal : Abandoned Castle II 25 The Fading A quick restock and rest before we return to the castle… the sight of Artemis still frozen in place drives me in this pursuit of riches. The selfish focus lends clarity but still feels off somehow, I wish I had more to go on than my thoughts of restoring him… but surely this is still the “right” course of action? He is chosen and if it takes my life (or others) to bring his light back, then that is surely a price worth paying… Thank Bahamut that  Uklah  joins us. Her very presence reassures me, with in her capability and in the fact this cause is true. No sign of the “king” this time though, I guess he’s prepared to let his “subjects” claim this castle on his behalf.  Burglekutt  more than covers our magical needs, assuming he can focus with that “herbal” cloud that follows him around. The combination of  Sairina  and  Teres  ensures we have sense leading this sortie - although I will say that the trollkin  Lippy  seems to grow more intelligent as I spend more time with him. The same cannot be said for  Ghargh … although his heart seems in the right place and he has proven a capable warrior. It looks like he’s left Fluffy Bob behind this time though - this fact encourages and terrifies me… will  Ghargh  be more focussed? But why does he feel he needs to be…?  Our journey is blissfully quiet, I think we’re all contemplating the task ahead. Poor  Uklah  still seems distraught over the death of Drago. I worry about her heart - it seems her only weakness and is exposed far too often as she chases love 26 The Fading Weird dreams through the night. I think I heard voices whispering about lizard kitties and watching tents but clearly tiredness takes it’s toll. Talk of future endeavours, who knew that  Teres  had hopes of her own tavern? Bahamut willing, she seems the sort who could certainly make it work - there’s surely no shortage of patrons looking for alcohol to help them forget their pains Tomorrow may be tough. I don’t know if we’ll all survive but I pray to you Bahamut to watch over my friends and I as we attempt to clear this castle. 27 The Fading The bridge remained down! We were forced to storm by speed and our might.  Sairina  once again leading the way to the mouth of the courtyard before taking stock. Joining her, I could see many new enemies had gathered. Before we had a chance to push through, arrows assaulted us.  Burglekutt  conjured swarms of beetles to aid the cause - truly powerful magic, they would prove instrumental in our push.  Sairina  pushed forward and was showered by more arrows and bombs from the tower, her armour and pure grit protecting her! As I joined, we managed to cut down one of the Gnolls guarding the courtyard before it’s master joined the fray (and got covered in beetles!).  Lippy  threw himself into the right flank and was almost instantly surrounded. I couldn’t see much but the occasional sight of his giant cauldron swinging away assured me he was on his feet at least! The bombs continued to fall before out of nowhere,  Teres  appeared over the wall and dashed through the enemy lines and into the tower with the goblins throwing their explosives. I was so surprised (and amazed) that I almost forgot our combat with the Gnoll leader! Fortunately  Sairina  did not miss a beat and dealt telling damage. She is truly a formidable warrior! I managed to get sight of  Ghargh  throwing himself into combat with the Gnolls, Bugbears, and Wargs engaged with  Lippy . The sight of the two raging is truly fearsome, I’m not sure many enemies could stand up to their onslaught! Especially as  Uklah  rained death on them too! Seeing this, one of them moved to engage her… gods, I almost felt sorry for them as  Uklah  (once again) succumbed to her urges and bit them again and again… Meanwhile, the sounds from the tower indicated that  Teres  was inflicting terrible vengeance on the goblins who had dared stay… and then there was silence. Having cleared out the courtyard of foes, we found some emaciated animals in the stables.  Ghargh ’s pure heart wanted to free them but we decided it might not be safe for them just yet. A lone (and very nude) goblin was found in a bathhouse of sorts. I admit that my senses were maybe still twitchy and I grabbed them before calmer heads prevailed and we allowed them to talk. Bahamut watch over me and stay my hand if I lose my senses in the bloodlust of combat!! We ascertained there is some sort of devil/demon locked up in the southern tower. Best to leave that until we clear the rest of this place. A sweep of the smithy introduced us to a poor fool who seems happy to melt metal down to invent questionable new options. We left the poor creature to his “craft” and cleared out the southern tower. The assault on the main building didn’t start well…  Teres  picked the lock well enough but when I opened the door, I was greeted by a trio of crossbow bolts to the torso… as I tried to pluck the bolts out (I think one might have broken a rib) I saw an odd suit of armour advancing! As  Lippy  and I battled what appeared to be two lots of three goblins in suits of armour on the left flank,  Burglekutt  and  Sairina  attempted to handle the right flank.  Burglekutt ’s amazing beetles once again filling the hallway!  Sairina  seemed to find something very funny and rested for a moment but luckily,  Uklah  and  Ghargh  helped bolster the left while  Teres  moved in to aid the right. Whatever was happening must have been really funny as  Teres  also decided to chuckle and rest. As we dispatched the last of the Goblin suits,  Burglekutt  and his beetles forced their way into the weird Goblin dandy ranks. Mopping up the survivors, we’re now faced with a chance to push deeper into the castle. Unfortunately, something tugs at my mind urging me to return to Hope. The name “Borin” and the image of the morning lord haunts my mind…
Teres is super bummed that Alexandria had to leave but completely understands. Free drinks to all Castle conquerors at Teres future bar XD
Teres's Notes and Observations - Abandoned Castle 2 25 Fading Ok, this is it. This time I can feel it. The castle task force is the same as the last time, with the exception of Icarus bowing out – his kingliness must consider this beneath him . But at least Uklah is coming along. She has held her wake for Drago and is now back in action. The days travel was uneventful, passing the same landmarks as last time. That evening I spoke with Sairina again. The fancy armoured boss lady spoke of her inexperienced cousin Elaria and asked me to look after her some time, considering I have picked up the nickname ‘Momma Teres’. Of course, I can look after her Sairina , but beware I’m not going to coddle her like that old salt Plank would. She’s going to learn a thing or two about the world if she is going to be taken under my wing. We also chatted about my ambitions to own a bar. Around that time, I swear I could hear Uklah say something about ‘mother’s milk’ in her sleep. Hmmm I like, it has a good ring to it. 26 Fading The next day was wet and windy. We went double time to beat this crappy weather and to beat the crap out of some goblins. Burglekutt sent his familiar Stella to do some recon – she died pretty quickly but not before she saw what awaited us – Gnolls, Bugbears and some Worgs. Sairina, Lippy and the rest stormed the castle from the broken bridge. I had a different approach. I’d though it best to climb the wall to give myself cover and to level out this bloody playing field with some light explosives. That is if the fucking things ACTUALLY WORKED! GODS DAMMIT THEY WEREN’T CHEAP. I digress. The spectacle of me climbing the walls seemed to amuse Ghargh – Ghargh don’t stand there kill something! Yes I know, I miss Fluffy Bob too. The goblin bombers were up to their no-good tricks again. I scaled the walls whilst I still could with my backpack of spiders and killed them (mostly) in their little hidey hole – nothing like the direct approach. I jumped out to finish off any stragglers in the courtyard and to help out Lippy , who looked a little rough.   With the courtyard falling quiet we could finally have a chance to look around. The stables housed two neglected looking horses and a very unhappy stag. To the south east of the stable we came across what appeared to be a bathing room and what definitely appeared to be a naked goblin. Alexandria dragged the goblin out ( clothed – boo ) and we question him. He said his name was Limjim and he didn’t seem to get up too much – my kinda guy. He warned us of the demon that lives with its demon babies in the southern tower. Great – I’ll deal with it later. We left Limjim to soak in the baths and gave him some weed and food for his troubles. Westward we found the forge and the world’s most incompetent Blacksmith Gorbaz. Alexandria was nice to him but I could see her eyes rolling. Gorbaz was helpful enough in telling us that we needed to get rid of both a Gnoll and Goblin leader. Turns out the Goblin leader has also taken to building a shrine of skulls and worshipping a deity know as Orcus. An evil entity that is giving her great power - hmm interesting. Ready to claim the tower proper I opened the door and Alexandria got pinned by an arrow trap – oof that’s rough buddy.   If that wasn’t enough, inside we had to deal with what I can only describe as three Goblins in a suit of plate mail and some Goblin Dandys. I underestimated those Dandys; they are more power then they look. They floored Sairina to the ground with a terrible joke. Well I guess you can’t have good taste in everythin… THAT’S HILAROUS TELL THAT JOKE AGAIN!! HAHAHAHA Wait what was I laughing about? Oh, they are all dead? Excellent. Wait what was that Alexandria ..you need to finally save brother? And Borin ? Sairina and Uklah are coming with you? Fine, I’ll have a drink ready for you when you return. Such a shame that several of my moral compasses had to leave. Oh well I guess the real fun is about to begin. I think I’ll start by finding that shrine to Orcus.
Eeeeek - we left the rogue unsupervised!!! Barbarians, it’s up to you for morals!!!
Momma Teres is going to make some terrible life choices - just sayin
