Ch. 62: The Adventurers Attempt to take back Falcon's Hunters Lodge!

Elizabeth K.: Hey guys!   Sirus: Heya Hello GM   Dungeon Master (GM): Hello All!   Sirus: Chad says that he has to go drop off his room-mate, but that he will come over as soon as that is taken care of. So he  should  show today   Dungeon Master (GM): alright and Buddy said he will be coming in today as well, just a bit late. Hello Rolo!   ROLO: morning   Sirus: No sign of anything out of Drake then I take it   Dungeon Master (GM): nope, no sign two maps of Neverwinter city there for you all you can see where the Driftwood is located on the one map Ok, so what is in mind for the adventures to do today? Where are they heading after leaving Neverwinter city?   Sirus: Well let's see What is there for stuff that needs doing? Something about a giant hog or something?   Roqar: Give Falcon back his lodge Take care of the Anchorites last holdouts   Dungeon Master (GM): 3 places you could go right now are Thundertree to deal with a green dragon, Havenfall manor to deal with the tormented paladin or falcon's hunters lodge to rid of the giant boar and it's flunkies that commandered the place for themselves.   ROLO: im not sure yet   Roqar: Thundertree has the green dragon and the cultists havenfell is damn cold   Elizabeth K.: I think we were planning on the dragon next, and it is the closest   Sirus: Mmh. You were? I was figuring the Falcon Hunter's Lodge would be a good next step up.   ROLO: do we know about the dragon?   Sirus: Although I see Thundertree is much closer.   Roqar: Yes Roqar would have mwntioned it   ROLO: dragon would most likely to have treasure did we leave already?   Sirus: We are deciding what to do before we leave I think   Dungeon Master (GM): Really all you know about the dragon in Thundertree is that it is green and Cultists were trying to befriend it. Hello Buddy!   Sirus: Splendid. Now just hoping Chad can show up sometime soon.   Buddy D.: sorry I was getting lucky   ROLO: nice   Buddy D.: lol   Sirus: ....Seems Chad underestimated how long dropping off his roommate was going to take.   ROLO: what do we know about the cultist?   Sirus: It's been 15 minutes already. Maybe we should just begin and we can try to work Feralda in when Chad does actually show up   Dungeon Master (GM): let me see if i can pull up some info on them   ROLO: evil most likely   Sirus: Cultists? Evil?  Perish the thought.   Roqar: It was our first meeting with the Cult of the Dragon dont know much In Game   Buddy D.: i can detect evil   ROLO: im evil lol   Feralda: Hey. Very sorry I'm late. My roomie needed a ride to work, didn't get ready until the last minute, then decided he needed to stop at the store for stuff. And I caught every single red light in town on the way.   Sirus: Oof. I see. At least you managed to get here eventually   ROLO: hi   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, you know that the cult of the dragon consisted of at least 6 people, one being their leader named Favric. They came to Thundertree to treat with the green dragon.   Roqar: OOC the Cult turns Dragons into Dracoliches but PCs dont know that   Buddy D.: lets get this party started ooh oh exactly   ROLO: cults and dragons lol   Feralda: Cults and dragons and Giants, oh my.   Dungeon Master (GM): if you chose thundertree we need to hop back over to the other module,   ROLO: lol   Sirus: you guys sure you want to risk tangling with an adult green dragon? Pretty nasty.   Feralda: We have a big party.   Sirus: CR 15 and all   Feralda: Dragon breath is brutal. Even if you save, it's a lot of damage.   Roqar: My feeling is We have to Sometime...   ROLO: how u know its a adult?   Elizabeth K.: Would the boar at the hunting lodge be easier? Makes sense to do everything in ascending difficulty   Sirus: How about later, when we are a bit more capable of surviving more than like 2 rounds I presume it is an adult   Buddy D.: i have revivify now   Feralda: I'd say just stay out of range, but dragons have a flying speed of 80, and a breath rnge of 60.   Buddy D.: so if you sukkas die i can revive you   Sirus: Okay, cool. Still tho. I would really say wait until at least level 6 minimum. My vote still goes on the Falcon Hunting Lodge.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, 1 vote for the lodge, anymore?   Roqar: Roqar would rather give Falcon back his lodge cause Falcon is a hottie
Dungeon Master (GM): so 2 votes then   Elizabeth K.: lol. sounds good   Dungeon Master (GM): 3 votes   Buddy D.: sounds good   ROLO: i vote with sirus for now   Sirus: Sounds like Falcon's Hunting Lodge.   Feralda: Fine by me.   Dungeon Master (GM): 5 votes for the lodge then!   Sirus: Also Chad did you actually set your player name to your character? There is a thing for posting as a character, y'know.   Feralda: Yes, it's listed as Feralda.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, looks like you could pretty much follow the river to get to it. You would be going to meet Reidoth and Falcon at the small camp they set up just out of sight of the lodge. Hello Chad!   Feralda: HI. :)   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, 3 checks for wandering monsters along the way to the campsite:  4   1   2   ROLO: another wizard looking forward to llearning spells what school of magic? im rolo   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, midway there, you all encounter something.   Feralda: She's an evocation wizard.   Dungeon Master (GM): 8   Feralda: Based on a character from Skyrim, actually. :P   Elizabeth K.: (Casting Tiny Hut every night, so not surprised in out sleep)   ROLO: icast mage armor before we leave   Sirus: Hoo boy here we go.   Feralda: Or at least named after.   Sirus: random encounter o'clock   Dungeon Master (GM): looks to be wolves and  1  of them   Feralda: Yeah, just cast mage armor every morning, before a fight.   Sirus: kekw random wolf   Feralda: One lonely wolf. Poor babe.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, just 1 wolf   Sirus: Can we just try for an Animal Handling check to shoo it away?   Roqar: pick up a stick toss it go fetch hehe   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, but lets see if it's hungry or not first, 1-3 it's hungry:  6 ok so looks like you may have a chance to shoo it off   Feralda: If it was, just give it half a ration, before shooing it away.   Marcuria Violezi: 10 | 6 ANIMAL HANDLING  (0) Marcuria Violezi   Feralda: Who is good at animal handling?   Avery: 21 | 12 ANIMAL HANDLING  (2) Avery   Sirus: Bard got this   Roqar: Willie was R IP hehe   ROLO: whos willie   Sirus: Dead character   ROLO: sorry for your loss   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, looks like Avery can chase it off   Sirus: And she does, so that random encounter is just gonna get skipped   Buddy D.: lol willie had soem bad ass green tabaac   Sirus: Mercy  is granted.   Dungeon Master (GM): the trip took 3 days basically   Sirus: ....Right. 3 days. Erm, lemme do ration calculations.   Dungeon Master (GM): let me set up a quick forest map for the campsite to met the others   Sirus: Avery is out of rations now but had enough for the trip.   Buddy D.: i was drinking from flask   Sirus: How about food   Buddy D.: juan denero makes whine   Sirus: Marcy is out too actually   Buddy D.: wine   Sirus: So yeah I think some hunting might be in order before the trip back.   Buddy D.: yeah I can hunt   Sirus: Well unless there are spare rations in the lodge :p   Buddy D.: maybe   Elizabeth K.: Or Juan knows Create Food and Water?   Buddy D.: yes   Sirus: Oh. Then he could just make food as well   Roqar: There will be plenty of Pork to eat   Sirus: 45 pounds of food.   ROLO: or wolf
Sirus: Actually that might be enough for everyone that rations are not needed. So nevermind!   Feralda: Scorching ray on the wolf. Fresh meat. >:D   ROLO: nice   Feralda: But no. Feralda is nicer than that.   Roqar: Giant Boar lots of Bacon   ROLO: bacon yum   Dungeon Master (GM): There are two others here with them, an older fellow and a young one, helpers of Falcon   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Approaches the two helpers with a silent greeting, changing her Cloak of Many Fashions to a simple red leather cloak.   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Hey Falcon, were here to get your lodge back"   Dungeon Master (GM): Corwin is the older helper while the 12 year old is a mute boy named Pell.   Feralda: I feel like I could base Feralda a little on Willow from Don't Starve, but I feel like the party might not like her setting everything on fire.   Sirus: lol nah let's not.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Corwin. Pell. Everything still holding steady here?"   Feralda: Not sure if Feralda is officially with the group yet.   Falcon the Hunter Says: "Oh, Cool to see that you all have made it back! I see some new faces among you! That Giant boar and it's followers are still at the lodge and they have repaired the fence where they broke in."   ROLO: dm also before we left i try to hide my race by covering most of my body other than my eyes   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "We're here and ready to help. We'll see if we can get that giant boar and his henchmen out of the lodge."   Feralda the Elf Wizard Says: "I'm sure we can do something about that fence."   Pell the Stablehand Says: "Oh yes, we have been holding up quite well here, Reidoth has been of great help."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Good. See anything else worth noting, before we head up there?"   Reidoth the Druid Says: "I have had my forest friends track them back to the place from whence they came as well."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "If they repaired the fence, is there another way in that you know of?"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "...Where they came from...anyplace particular?"   Feralda the Elf Wizard Says: "Do they have demands, aside from just wanting the lodge?"   Falcon the Hunter Says, "We have avoided contact with them. Aside of the main gate there is one that opens into the north yard on the east side and another entrance that leads to where animals are kept in the south yard, also on the east side."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Demands? their evil mystic Orcs that use bad magic"   Feralda the Elf Wizard Says: "Ah, so we're dealing with savages. How quaint."   ROLO: mystic orcs?   Falcon the Hunter Says: "We have kept our distance from them without trying to communicate, what with just the four of us being here until now."   ROLO: how many?   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "The east side...alright. Thanks."   Buddy D.: roqar was a pull from my flask   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "They have a shaman that uses Bad Magic (Rogue no real concept of magic)"   Dungeon Master (GM): as to how many, i need to see about how many would be noticed traveling back and forth between the lodge and their original compound   ROLO: how many orcs? is the shaman the leader?   Roqar the Elf Rogue Roqar will take a drink from the flask   ROLO: id like to kill the shaman   Juan Denero: I dont like shaman   Sirus: Oh we will be killing shaman, i'm sure.   Juan Denero: yes sir   ROLO: for his spell book and magic items   Dungeon Master (GM): oh you guys found a map at the old woodland manse I believe   Sirus: What is it a map of   Dungeon Master (GM): checking that the map shows the neverwinter woods and a location of the a place known as the Circle of Thunder.   Sirus: Okay. That can be something to check out in the future.   Roqar: After the lodge hehe   Dungeon Master (GM): by the way it its orcs that are with the giant boar   Sirus: For now tho, I think we are about ready to move over to the lodge map, with the informations in hand
Sounds like the best way to get in will be from the eastern side for better or worse?   Juan Denero: i agree sirus   Roqar: Yes if they have not blocked it off   Feralda: I have an idea of setting the animals loose, and making them panic, to cause a distraction.   Sirus: Let's see what the situation actually is before trying anything like that.   Reidoth the Druid Says: "From what my forest friends have spied from the air and to where they traveled back and forth from, I'd estimate the number of orcs to be around 20 or so of them, at the lodge at any given time."   Juan Denero: feralda I would check it out first   Feralda the Elf Wizard Says: "We don't want to fight twenty enemies at once."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "That's a lot of orcs. We're gonna have to be careful how we do this. Thanks for the warning, Reidoth."   ROLO: i think goin invisble to take out their spell caster with fireball   Reidoth the Druid Says: "You are welcome." ok, so looks like we move to the lodge map.   Sirus: yes   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Maybe go with hit and run to wear them down?"   Juan Denero: That would work roq   ROLO: whats the plan   Dia Xiloscient: Depending on how they're guarding, we could maybe lure a few lone guards out to their doom before launching an attack   Dungeon Master (GM): I just put you all there for now, how are you looking to approach the place?   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "We need to do some reconaissance. Rolo, up for a bit of scouting?"   Feralda the Elf Wizard Says: "We need to cause as much chaos as possible, to keep them diverted."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Sure, but not before we know exactly what it's like in there."   Feralda the Elf Wizard Says: "Ok. Be safe while scouting."   ROLO: i can go invisable   Juan Denero: be safe amigo   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "That's the idea. Make yourself invisible, head in from the eastern side. Give me an idea what we can expect, going in there."   ROLO: k   Feralda the Elf Wizard Says: "If anyone has the message spell, that would be good too."   Dia Xiloscient: Rolo does   ROLO: ido   Feralda the Elf Wizard Says: "So well prepared. :)"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "I believe our drow 'friend' here has that handled."   ROLO: yep what side should i go in ty   Sirus: Hm. GM, would it be possible to get up onto the roof of any of these places? Marcy has a Grappling Hook on her.   Juan Denero: I have a hook as well   Sirus: And more importantly, would it be possible to get in from the roof in any of those places.   ROLO: message 120 ft   Sirus: Ooh okay, I feel a baller first move coming right up. Okay, hear me out. Ritual casting Silence right here To essentially isolate these 4 orcs so we can kill them without alerting everyone else They can shout or blow a horn but the field makes it so no sound escapes So they can't alert their frens   ROLO: i can cast minor ilussion to make noise over there to draw there attention   Sirus: Yeah yeah yeah okay, lemme Plan V2 Ritual Cast silence right here   Juan Denero: Divine Favor Evocation 1 Casting Time:  1 bonus action Range:  Self Target:  Self Components:  V, S Duration:  Concentration Up to 1 minute Your prayer empowers you with divine radiance. Until the spell ends, your weapon attacks deal an extra 1d4 radiant damage on a hit. SPELL SAVE DC : 13   Sirus: party hides here Rolo lures these 4   Juan Denero: oops just checking what that spell was   Sirus: Then we all come out and gank the silenced orcs 4 less orcs and no alarm sounded Okay so Rolo messages the party to let them know what he sees for orcs   Dungeon Master (GM): I am looking for the giant boar token   ROLO: i do   Feralda: The boar is invisible. O>O O.O
Sirus: dun dun dun   Dia Xiloscient: I can use web to trap them in the silenced zone while we burst out from hiding   Sirus: Sure.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Okay. First step, we clear that doorway. Avery, get a Silence field going. Rolo, you're on decoy duty. Everyone else, hide behind the wall. When they come over, we'll jump them as a group. Seem about right?"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Sounds like fun to me."   ROLO: yep   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Sounds good"   Dungeon Master (GM): ok found it!   Sirus: Yeah that is a Giant-class enemy for sure. ~~but why is it blue~~ nah it's fine   Feralda the Elf Wizard Says: "Exciting."   Sirus: Ok so Avery is gonna Ritual-cast Silence   Juan Denero: i can speak with giants lol   Roqar: Silence Web move in   Dia Xiloscient the Elf Wizard Says: "Marcy, want to be as fast as Roqar again?"   ROLO: with the minor ilusion noise do the 4 come to check it out   Sirus: And then Rolo will lure these 4 And the others will hide behind this wall   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, just skimmed through all your plannings there. So i see Rolo going invisible and using the grappling hook to climb up to a roof. and using webbing on four guards and illusions.   Sirus: And then try to jump the 4 orcs when they walk into the silence zone   Dia Xiloscient: Mage Armor Abjuration 1 Casting Time:  1 action Range:  Touch Target:  A willing creature who isn't wearing armor Components:  V, S, M (A piece of cured leather) Duration:  8 hours Dia Xiloscient casts the spell upon Dia Xiloscient, who isn’t wearing armor, and a protective magical force surrounds the recipient until the spell ends. The target’s base AC becomes 13 + its Dexterity modifier. The spell ends if the target dons armor or if you dismiss the spell as an action. SPELL SAVE DC : 15   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Eh. Sure, why not. Hit me with it."   Dia Xiloscient: Longstrider Transmutation 1 Casting Time:  1 action Range:  Touch Target:  A creature Components:  V, S, M (A pinch of dirt) Duration:  1 hour Dia Xiloscient, casts the spell upon Marcuria. The target’s speed increases by 10 feet until the spell ends. At Higher Levels .  When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 1st.   Dungeon Master (GM): those two i just pinged are up on the tower looking over the area so they could see you coming.   Sirus: Oh I see.   Dungeon Master (GM): those two guards in the west entrance can also spot you coming from that side   Sirus: Ok so grapple hook is a no then That's fine   Dungeon Master (GM): they would be on the gatehouse roof i just pinged   Sirus: We'll just opt for the lure+silence field takedown   Juan Denero: sounds good   Dungeon Master (GM): and that's the tower roof where the two on the east side are i just pinged   ROLO: was i able to get on the roof   Sirus: Yeah rolo is still invisible atm if memory serves.   Juan Denero: yes   ROLO: yep lasts a hour   Dungeon Master (GM): let me check on how high up the roof is and where exactly did you try to climb Rolo?   ROLO: i will   Dungeon Master (GM): I assume he casted the invisibility prior to exiting the woods   Juan Denero: yes   ROLO: yes   Dia Xiloscient: . . . the invisibility ends if he casts a spell, so minor illusion would break it   ROLO: were to climb up?   Dungeon Master (GM): ok so you want to just climb over the fencing near where the guards are?   Sirus: It's not clear to me what are walls and what is fence   Feralda: I didn't think about that. Invisibility wears off when casting another concentration spell.   Dungeon Master (GM): well where Rolo is now is the log fencing   Sirus: Oh OH wait okay it is coming to me now I think.   ROLO: idont want to break invisabilty yet   Dungeon Master (GM): then there is the outhouse walls and the guest house walls to the west of him   Sirus: The lumpy bits of wall are fence and the straight bits are wall?
Feralda: afk a minute   Dungeon Master (GM): right Sirus   Sirus: ...Ouch. Ok that kinda pokes a hole in things a bit then. Would they be harder to spot if they hugged the wall? From these two I mean   Feralda: back   Sirus: As far as Rolo is concerned, he can just scout, then come back down and assume a place to do his illusions from with less sight lines   ROLO: iwont cast a spell then so i dont lose invisabilty icould run back and tell them   Sirus: Yeah let's go with that tbh.   ROLO: sorry   Sirus: I should have given Rolo a Sending Stone. ah well   ROLO: we have one   Sirus: Marcy has the Sending Stones yes   ROLO: i didnt know   Feralda: Just chuck it towards him. :P Although you can't see him right now, so that wouldn't make sense.   Dungeon Master (GM): you can use them yes   Dia Xiloscient: He can cast message. What does he need sending stones for?   Sirus: spell cast, removes invisible Sending Stones would go around that problem   Feralda: Only if it's concentration   Dungeon Master (GM): or like an attack spell   Roqar: cast message first   Sirus: Okay so GM, when we go ahead with this, are these two orcs here going to look that way or will they mostly just be kinda looking forwards to the east?   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, where is Rolo climbing exactly? so I can see how high he has to go   ROLO: were u want me guys   Sirus: Idk. Probably here? Where there is actually roof Guest house   Dungeon Master (GM): you want to climb up onto the guest house roof?   ROLO: sure   Sirus: Yeah oughta be more doable than the tower   Dungeon Master (GM): let me check the height the Palisade (fence) is 10 ft high by the way   ROLO: tower ht?   Dungeon Master (GM): looks like the ceilings in the place are 9 feet high so say it's a 10 feet climb up   Sirus: Easily doable. Although actually, maybe a strength check would be in order? For climbing   Dungeon Master (GM): with a DC of 15 will do   Sirus: : x Ok. Roll it then.   ROLO: str not good lol   Sirus: Maybe he shouldn't climb then   Feralda: In all honesty, Orcs that are inside roofed builds should probably be on the GM layer, and invisible to us.   Sirus: ...Actually yes   Feralda: If Rolo needs help climbing, I can cast enhance ability   ROLO: ty   Sirus: Yeah sure, we can have Enhance Ability.   Feralda: If he asks her.   Dungeon Master (GM): yes they would be invisible to you now.   ROLO: sure ido   Sirus: So Enhance Ability should give advantage to strength checks and saves iirc.   Feralda: Yes, bull's strength   ROLO: nice   Sirus: now  let's see about that there strength check   ROLO: rolling 1d20( 10 ) = 10   Sirus: roll again   ROLO: rolling 1d20( 6 ) = 6   Sirus:benis   Feralda: :(   Sirus: ack!   Feralda: Rolo the elf Wizard Says: "Try harder, dear."   ROLO: any plus   Dungeon Master (GM): looks like Rolo can not climb up today   ROLO: lol   Sirus: He does not get up. It's fine, we know enough to make the first move.   Dungeon Master (GM): you could wait for a gate to open of course   ROLO: ican still talk an d not lose invible   Dungeon Master (GM): yes rolo   ROLO: i will lure them to the party
Dungeon Master (GM): after all Nezznar did that   Sirus: Yeah let's do that then. Have Rolo get the attention of those 4, lure into the silence field and then we jump them the others should get hidden now Feralda, Roqar, Farren   Dungeon Master (GM): where is this zone of silence?   ROLO: k i do that hey dumb orcs over here   Sirus: Made a green square   Dungeon Master (GM): remember if any of you come out into the clearings around the place you will be spotted   Sirus: ...actually Lemme move this slightly Okay now we are good. This goes down behind the guest house   ROLO: do they follow   Feralda: Why are you moving silence farther away from the Orcs?   Dungeon Master (GM): if you are invisible they don't follow how are you luring them?   Sirus: So that when we jump them, nobody looks through the fence and sees us killing them   Feralda: Ok   Sirus: That area is seeable by others Maybe Rolo can pick up and throw a stone at the fence?   ROLO: yep i do that ty   Dungeon Master (GM): I am assuming those inside can't see out as the logs are tightly fit side by side with no gaps. However, there are likely sight holes in the gates. and of course those outside could shout warnings   Sirus: If Dia summoned her familiar, would the orcs attack it or chase it or anything like that?   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, they would hear the stone strike the fence 1 one of them sees the stone bouncing away after hitting it.   Feralda: Oh yeah, Feralda does have an owl familiar.   Sirus: :X   Dungeon Master (GM): depends on if they see the familiar as a threat or not   Sirus: Would they think it is an animal to hunt perhaps? This is a hunting lodge   Feralda: Not sure of owl is a game animal.   Dia Xiloscient: The allowed animals are bat, cat, crab, frog (toad), hawk, lizard, octopus, owl, poisonous snake, fish (quipper), rat, raven, sea horse, spider, or weasel.   Dungeon Master (GM): depends on if they are hungry when they see the familiar   Sirus: Poisonous Snake can be threatening That could work   Dia Xiloscient: Could make it try to bite them Though I don't know if that would lure more than one . . .   Sirus: Or even just kinda hiss threateningly and then zip around the corner into the silence field Thing is, they might see just one poisonous snake and be like "we got this"   ROLO: take my dagger and tap it loudly on the fence   Dungeon Master (GM): or even ignore the snake entirely i'd roll on that   Feralda: So all the wizards send familiars out as snakes?   ROLO: sayind orcs are stupid   Dia Xiloscient: A herd of snakes might confuse them enough to attract attention. I don't have it prepared, so 10 minute ritual casting time.   Feralda: Although there's a meterial cost for changing it that requires a fire, so it may not be wise.   Sirus: Okay, here's an idea.   Feralda: Oh, I forgot not all my known spells are prepared spells. :P   Sirus: The 'fence' is tight palisades right?   Dungeon Master (GM): right   Sirus: If Rolo did use Minor Illusion to lure, would he be able to roll stealth with advantage to not catch anyone else's attention? Actually wait, what's the range on minor illusion...   Dia Xiloscient: 30   ROLO: 30   Sirus: ..Ouch. Yeah then there's no way he can do this without putting himself in a spot where he gets seen.   ROLO: i will do it   Dia Xiloscient: Does Feralda have Minor Illusion too?   Feralda: He might as well use himself as bait, then.   ROLO: yep   Sirus: Errr that may end up alerting the entire lodge tho Which is what we like to call SNAFU   Feralda: Hopefully they wouldn't sound the alarm for just one intruder.   Dia Xiloscient: We could have one wizard cast it from the trees (30 feet in the direction of the orcs), then another cast it from where we're hiding in the silence zone.   Sirus: Problem is, we go past the guest house, people at the towers can see us   Dia Xiloscient: If it's Dia and Feralda casting, then Rolo doesn't have to break invisibility.   Feralda: Not sure I have minor illusion   ROLO: let me know   Dungeon Master (GM): you can't cast a spell with a verbal component in the silence   Feralda: I have prestidigitaion, though   Dia Xiloscient: (Cast from outside the field of silence to make the illusion appear inside the field)   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Dia Xiloscient: There are trees North of us, and that's the way we came from, right?   Feralda: I can make a symbol appear, so I can grafitti the wall. :P
Dia Xiloscient: Can have one go back into the tree line, and circle around   Sirus: The illusion can't make sound though Because silence field blocks sound   Dia Xiloscient: Or have Rolo hide in the tree to cast the first illusion.   Sirus: unga   Dia Xiloscient: Can be an illusion of a child. Something visual that the orcs would walk up to, but not find threatening enough to sound an alarm.   Dungeon Master (GM): I see the tree line you are pinging   ROLO: k   Sirus: Yeah. Maybe Rolo can hide in the tree   Feralda the Elf Wizard Goes to the wall next to the silence zone, and uses prestidigitation to write the word Shrakh on the wall, in brown letters.   Sirus: lol nice reference   ROLO: ty   Sirus: So that when Rolo does lose invis, he can hide in the tree to not be spotted That was aimed at chad actually   ROLO: lol   Dungeon Master (GM): reidoth can cast entangle   Sirus: Sure. Losing patience tho....   Dungeon Master (GM): and thunderwave as his offensive spells   ROLO: i can recastif need be   Feralda: Yeah, it's about 11:00, and we haven't done anything substantial.   Sirus: Are we about ready to actually do this?   Feralda: Actually making it look like someone shat on the wall reminds me of a Game grumps animation. :P   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, so if you are ready to take actions then anything you post now will be considered being done. so are you all ready now?   Dia Xiloscient: Yep   Juan Denero: yes   Feralda: Very   Sirus: I am ready. Just waiting on someone to do the illusions or whatever to lure the dingdongdang orcs   ROLO: yep sorry minoir ilusison   Dia Xiloscient: I cast Minor Illusion to make a child in the silence zone, painting on the wall where Feralda put the brown letters. (Assuming Rolo will lure them around the corner)   Feralda: Yis   ROLO: yes i do i will lure them to the squre   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, so Rolo how do you lure them?   ROLO: i cast minor ilusision of a child too with food   Dungeon Master (GM): ok they spot the child now and keep an eye on him. just use the rolo token where you want the child to move ok, one of them comes around the corner keeping an eye on the child   Farren Nidanas: (Farren readies a crossbow, to fire as soon as the orcs are trapped)   Dungeon Master (GM): he stays there glaring at the child   Feralda: Have the kids make some insulting gestures at the Orc   Dia Xiloscient: The child drawing on the wall turns to face the orc and taunt him   ROLO: can i have the child offer food to him   Dungeon Master (GM): Wisdom Orc Ability:  14  |  16   Sirus: save DC is...? INITIATIVE ROLL: 13.12 ok, is everyone in the turn order now? : Round 1 Juan Denero , it's now your turn!   Dungeon Master (GM): Round 1 begins any actions for juan?   Sirus: Yes but it seems that the spell macro for it is broken   Juan Denero: Juan Denero|repeating_spell-1_$5_rollcontent   Sirus: Spiritual Weapon.   Dungeon Master (GM): that just means there is no spell available for that slot   Dia Xiloscient: (I recomend a ranged attack, so Dia can trap everything in the silence zone)   Dia Xiloscient: (Also, Rolo's token is currently representing an illusion, and he's actually in the trees, right?)   ROLO: yep   Dia Xiloscient: Shouldn't Juan have full spell slots because he hasn't cast anything since we rested?   Sirus: Yeah he should have all slots. No it's a matter of broken macros again   Dungeon Master (GM): he does but the sub-menu is only listing all of the spells he has...Not all that are only currently memorized   Sirus: and okay, no melee yet until Dia does Entangle. Or web or whatever it is   Juan Denero: FOR DESCRIPTION ONLY Magic Weapon Transmutation 2 Casting Time:  1 bonus action Range:  Touch Target:  A nonmagical weapon Components:  V, S Duration:  Concentration Up to 1 hour You touch a nonmagical weapon. Until the spell ends, that weapon becomes a magic weapon with a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls. At Higher Levels .  When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the bonus increases to +2. When you use a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the bonus increases to +3. SPELL SAVE DC : 12   Sirus: He will use Magic Weapon on Marcy's gauntlets. +1   Dungeon Master (GM): ok the sub-menu is not set up to show all of his spells so just cast it from the sheet I have to laugh because i read that in a weird way!   Sirus: Okay. : )   Dungeon Master (GM): so ok her gauntlets are at a +1   = Sirus: hang on, I have regular action Light crossbow will be used
Juan Denero the Cleric, Attacks with the LIGHT CROSSBOW (1.5ft) with BOLT (18") at Orc #04! Range: 80ft / 320ft Strike Hits an AC of  12  |  24 For  11  Hit Points of Piercing Damage!   Sirus: Yeah the crossbow works. Dia Xiloscient , it's now your turn!   Dia Xiloscient: The submenu for casting is a bit messed up. Instead of listing the four level 2 spells I have prepared, it's listing the first four. Web Conjuration 2 Casting Time:  1 action Range:  60 feet Target:  A point of your choice within range Components:  V, S, M (A bit of spiderweb) Duration:  Concentration Up to 1 hour Dia Xiloscient conjures a mass of thick, sticky webbing at a point of her choice within range. The webs fill a 20-foot cube from that point for the duration. The webs are difficult terrain and lightly obscure their area. If the webs aren’t anchored between two solid masses (such as walls or trees) or layered across a floor, wall, or ceiling, the conjured web collapses on itself, and the spell ends at the start of your next turn. Webs layered over a flat surface have a depth of 5 feet. Each creature that starts its turn in the webs or that enters them during its turn must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is restrained as long as it remains in the webs or until it breaks free. A creature restrained by the webs can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. If it succeeds, it is no longer restrained. The webs are flammable. Any 5-foot cube of webs exposed to fire burns away in 1 round, dealing 2d4 fire damage to any creature that starts its turn in the fire. SPELL SAVE DC : 15 SPELL SLOT LEVEL 22 OF 3 REMAINING   Dungeon Master (GM): ok that bolt missed the orc!   Sirus: Ok so 2 DC 15 Dex Saves.   Dia Xiloscient: I cast web on the orcs. How do I draw an area?   Sirus: Shape Second button down   Dungeon Master (GM): yea the sub-menu's purpose is to list all of the spells you have via a table look-up. It is not set up to only show what you have left as being memorized click on paint brush   Sirus: you got it I think   Dungeon Master (GM): then drawn shape or freehand   Dia Xiloscient: (The web shouldn't be visible through the fence, right?)   Sirus: GM, 2 Dex saves from the orcs to not get Restrained.   Dungeon Master (GM): now for saves   Dia Xiloscient: (Idea is to make it easier for them to run further into the silence traps than back out)   Dungeon Master (GM): Dexterity Orc Ability:  17  |  20 Dexterity Orc Ability:  21  |  16   Sirus: Cool... Neither are restrained. Critical Success too. Ack. The dice are not with us today it seems   Dungeon Master (GM): but they move at half speed until they leave the webbing   Feralda: Kind of needed them restrained in the silence spell for this to work...   Dungeon Master (GM): they are shouting out and wondering why there is no response back : Dia Xiloscient 's turn is done. Falcon’s has begun!   Sirus: Yup. Somebody needs to get up there and make sure they can't just leave. Falcon's turn now.   Dungeon Master (GM): do you want Falcon to fire his bow at one?   Dia Xiloscient: The druid NPC can try again with his Entangle.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   ROLO: back   Feralda: wb   Sirus: Yeah would make sense to shoot orc with bow   Dungeon Master (GM): Longbow Falcon the Hunter Attack: 10  |  7 Damage:   12  piercing Attacks: Orc #03!   Sirus: miss. Orc #01’s Turn has begun!   Sirus: Ok so now orc 1 can move. He can use bonus action to move up to speed towards a hostile he can see Well half speed because web   Dungeon Master (GM): he runs out of the webbing since I mentioned they only move at half speed getting out that's where his turn ends   Sirus: Righto : Orc #01’s  turn is done.

To do so, you use a bonus action on your turn to choose one creature other than yourself within 60 feet of you who can hear you. That creature gains one Bardic Inspiration die, a d6. Once within the next 10 minutes, the creature can roll the die and add the number rolled to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes. The creature can wait until after it rolls the d20 before deciding to use the Bardic Inspiration die, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails. Once the Bardic Inspiration die is rolled, it is lost. A creature can have only one Bardic Inspiration die at a time. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of once). You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest. Your Bardic Inspiration die changes when you reach certain levels in this class. The die becomes a d8 at 5th level, a d10 at 10th level, and a d12 at 15th level.   Sirus: Bardic inspiration charge for marcy   Dungeon Master (GM): ok : Avery 's turn is done.

While raging, you gain the following benefits if you aren’t wearing heavy armor: -You have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws. -When you make a melee weapon attack using Strength, you gain a bonus to the damage roll that increases as you gain levels as a barbarian, as shown in the Rage Damage column of the Barbarian table. -You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. If you are able to cast spells, you can’t cast them or concentrate on them while raging. Your rage lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven’t attacked a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can also end your rage on your turn as a bonus action. Once you have raged the number of times shown for your barbarian level in the Rages column of the Barbarian table, you must finish a long rest before you can rage again.   Form Of The Beast Marcuria Violezi Class: Path of the Beast When you enter your rage, you can transform, revealing the bestial power within you. Until the rage ends, you manifest a an aspect of your inner beast. Any weapons manifested count as simple melee weapon for you, and you add your Strength modifier to the attack and damage rolls when you attack with it, as normal. You choose the form of your manifestation each time you rage: Bite. Your mouth transforms into a bestial muzzle or great mandibles (your choice). It deals 1d8 piercing damage on a hit. Once on each of your turns when you damage a creature with this bite, you regain a number of hit points equal to twice your proficiency bonus. Carapace. Your skin hardens into tough hide or chitin. Your hit point maximum and current hit points increase by your barbarian level plus your consitution modifier. In addition, you have a +2 bonus to your Armor Class. Claws. Each of your hands transforms into a claw, which you can use as a weapon if it's empty. It is a light weapon that deals 1d6 slashing damage on a hit. It counts as a held weapon for the purposes of two-weapon fighting. Once on each of your turns when you attack with a claw using the Attack action, you can make one additional claw attack as part of the same action. Tail. You grow a lashing, spiny tail. It is a heavy weapon which deals 1d10 piercing damage on a hit and has the reach property. If a creature you can see within 10 feet of you hits you with an attack roll, you can use your reaction to swipe your tail and roll a d10, applying a bonus to your AC equal to the number rolled, potentially causing the attack to miss you. Wings. A set of wings sprout from your back. You gain flying speed equal to your walking speed. Tail Marcuria Violezi Feat: Form of the Beast You grow a lashing, spiny tail.
