LFG [5e] [Pathfinder] [3.5]

Retired (40m) looking to get back into DnD.  I'm open all week atm EST.  feel free to PM me or hit me up in response.  I don't have a cam,  I have a mic.  Don't really care what we play since it's been about 15 years since i last played.  Still learning how to use all the commands in roll20 (apologies ahead of time).  NO I WILL NOT PAY FOR A GAME IF YOU DM ME>
If you've been out of the game for 15 years, it's unlikely someone is just going to run a game for you out of the kindness of their heart. DMing is a lot of work and costs money to do well online. Add in the extra time and effort to teach you and bring you up to speed, you're asking a lot from a complete stranger but good luck with it.

Wait what @taibhsear, you're saying free games don't happen?  Seriously disagree. @Grey I. it may take longer but you are much better off finding a group of hobbyists who play together out of love for the game and being social, than a paid game. It would be incredibly useful if the roll20 devs had a separate forum for paid games.

Yeah, you'll have to slog through the mire of paid games, but a lot of gms enjoy running games, and are happy to have new or returning players join (myself included). I actually wrote a chrome addon to hide paid games, just because it clutters up the forum so much. I'm considering running a second game, maybe 5E, maybe an older edition like 1, 2, or Basic D&D. For me, what makes the game is a good group of people. My style is mostly sticking to the rules as written, with clear and explicit exceptions, which I try to be consistent with. I also like more grounded characters, less zany, with sane personalities and motivations. Maybe I'll end up running something. Feel free to msg me for a discord chat.
well, thank you for your responses? i wasn't looking for a discussion.  i was actually looking for a game to play.  i appreciate your reply's.
