Poor Mourning People - Who are they mourning?

Facing down very bad creatures, we opted to not fight them. I am not really sure why, but I trusted Sedriss. We were brought towards three very evil people, and some other evil people came along. I really do not understand what is happening, but I will continue to follow Sedriss. I think we are going back in time to stop some people from mourning, though I am not sure whom they are mourning. I suppose if we stop that, then its a good thing...right? Though it was evil people that asked us to do something, so we cannot do what evil people told us to do, right? So, the best thing to do would be to not do what the evil people told us to do. I do wish I could help the mourning people though. I wonder what they are mourning?
This is complicated. Being sent back in time by Queen Mab, working with Lady Illmarrow, to prevent the Mourning only so the war can extend and The Lady can eventually take full power over Eberron. We all decided to do nothing, let the morning happen vs letting The Lady get her way and control Eberron.  The 2 options were bad and bad. The slim upside is being able to go after Dyrrn, The Lady, and the Quori. That is if we aren’t zapped back to the time we came from. Gnipity used his amulet and sent us back to Eberron so that we wouldn’t need to go through the portal Mab created. I have no idea what location we will end up in though and the way things have spiraled out of control my guess is it is going to be a bad spot to arrive.
All this talk about time  travel is making me long for the good old quiet days in the forest with my wolves and dinos.  I suppose if we're 6 years in the past that's probably where my past self is, before she got dragged into this craziness. The question is do we save humans in the past who already are dead in the present?  I don't really care.  A lot of nature was perverted in the mourning and I would like to stop that, but I don't want to further dyrn's and Ilmater's plans.  I definitely don't want to bring forth the dust lords.  Vengence, however, I can get behind 100%.  I still haven't had time to talk to Aron and Sedriss about the Silver Flame.
We got sent into the past, just before the morning, now we gotta decide what to do. I want to try to stop it, that we we can save the lives lost. Others disagree. They think we should focus on revenge touring. We gotta see if the enemy has anything in store for us. I guess we will just have to wait and find out. Also I think we are nearing the end, I hope we can see my sister and son again, I need to get some closer with them, either I heal them back to their old selves, or I end their suffering, but things can't go on this way.
