700 AM
They search Benjamin Franklin’s lab for every scrap of paper
they can find relating to his time machine. When they finish they realize that
key parts of the design are missing. They decide to wait for Ben to make a
reappearance.
1700 (5PM)
Ben walks back into his lab. The group ask him about the
time machine. Ben tells them that his notes are incomplete and the remainder
rests within his mind and memory. He tells them he was planning on finishing
his notes and have them recorded on thin sheets of metal that would endure the
ages in the next few days. He is meeting a group of people in less than a week
and will likely be heading to France
on a diplomatic mission afterward. He might not be home again for years.
He dictates the last of his notes to Lady Paper and
Constable who record the data (on paper and in Constables eidetic memory). They
leave a copy with Ben so he can have his friend the metallurgist make the book
that will eventually wind up in the hands of Stanely Bradford who gives it to
Bonnie Baxter’s grandfather Cave Carson.
When pressed for why the machine only sends people in to the
past Ben says that he believes the machine will work for past or for future but
the limitation is because of the nature of the person moving through time.
Arriving in a new time is like being born, it is a matter of the essence of the
traveler, which is why you can only travel naked.
There are exceptions of course. Such as Ben could travel
forward in time is someone from the future opens the gateway. He also said that
Stanley Bradford saved him from time looping himself.
Ben also admitted that he discovered the works that led him
to inventing the time machine when he was doing his research on electricity and
consulting books of higher learning in the possession of people he knew. (i.e.
Free Masons and members of secret societies that he was also a member of).
These books stated that their data was built from information that dated back
to Ramses II, a.k.a. Ramses the Great, of Egypt
(circa 1279 BCE, Egypt’s
19 th Dynasty).
He said he had visited one of the Pharaoh’s viziers and
befriended him. He wanted to go back and speak to him more but they (the PCs)
prevented him from going and learning more. Benjamin was afraid he might never
get the chance to finish his research on the time machine or the mental giants
who laid down the secrets that he built upon.
Upon finishing the Time Machine manual the group returned to
the South East Square
and the time portal. At 10PM the door opens and the group returns to their own
time.

Monday
10PM
Elizabeth Ann Hunter is not there to greet them. Her parents
Rip and Bonnie are. They ask what happened and Constable gives them a blow by
blow, minute by minute, recount of what happened so Rip can analyze their
actions to see if it made any changes to history.
Constable stays with Rip, Bonnie, Jeff, Dan, and Antonia to
try to rework the time machine with the information they brought back from
1776.
Paladin goes to get caught up on the news, Kismet goes for a
shower and gets new clothes, Iktomi wants to go hunt for Vampires, Lady Paper
also goes for a shower, Bear calls his parents to let them know he was safe.
Bear learns that his parents are being leaned on my the
Bratva for protection money including their past payments (and a sir charge for
the problems that Bear caused them). Bear asks Constable to go deliver money to
his parents so they can pay the Bratva. Before Constable can answer the request
in his own unique way Iktomi calls the group. The vampire hunt has gone off the
rails.
While he was heading for where the vampires were he was
accosted by an old enemy of Spider-man’s, the Fly. The fly kept calling him
Peter, or Parker, and made crude threats to his well being and to that of
someone called M.J.
The Fly flew away but Iktomi pursued him via Web Slinging
filling in the rest of the team as to his whereabouts as he went.
The fly led ‘Spider-Man’ into an ambush. He hired a group of
mercenaries to take on ‘Spider-Man’ and his friends. They were Black Paladin,
Anvil II, Panda, and Raccoon.
The battle was decisive, the Brooklyn Brigade won. A
bystanders car was a fatality but Constable bought him a new one and all was
well.
Anvil II managed to get away kicking into his Mega-Scale
flight after all hope of victory seemed lost. The rest of the mercenaries are
arrested as they have previous warrants out for them.
Based on what the Fly kept saying they come to realize that
Spider-Man is/was Peter Parker and the mysterious M.J. is Mary Jane Parker,
successful fashion model and wife to the free lance photographer Peter Parker
(who has been missing since June of 2017, the Exodus). Iktomi is concerned that
MJ might be in danger because of the Fly’s threats.

Elizabeth Ann Hunter claims that Hitler will be arriving
soon.
The Time Machine still does not allow you to take cargo
