Looking for a d&d tutor

I'm really interested in learning to play any edition of d&d but have no clue where to start. I'm a very dedicated player in any adventure/role playing style game and am looking for someone willing to show me the ropes and gain a friend along the way. I'm available most nights and weekends. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Tyler
Hey Tyler me and a friend of mine are on right now looking for new players. Ready and willing to help you learn. Send a message for a link.
Hi Tyler, I've set up a group where people organize one-shots and has pick-up games every Friday night. You'd be welcome to join and there's people there who would be happy to teach you (both me and others who are more qualified to do so). https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/14638/bfrpg-group-friday-night-pick-up-games The system we use is Basic Fantasy Roleplaying Game. It's a rules light system loosely based on classic dungeons and dragons (with some modern design incorporated). It is an open source game and the PDF and all supplements are available for free download. For more information about the system: http://www.basicfantasy.org/ . There is also a great community there that can answer questions.
