FINAL PARTY DECISIONS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST, EVERYONE!
Welcome to the hallowed halls of Westcrown University, one of the most famed institutes of learning in all the land. People of all ages from all over the world come together at old WU and the adjoining large college town of Point Pleasant in pursuit of direction in their lives, usually through higher education or being party animals. Those between places in their life, or just comfortable settling down, can find their way to Westcrown U. Can't pay tuition? Just talk to the financial aid office. Failing classes? Just got to work harder. It's something of an interdisciplinary paradise, be you seeking a bachelor's degree in communications or a full masters in conjuration, and it's said the connections you make here will serve you well for the rest of your life.
...At least, that's how it's supposed to be. But for the citizenry and student body alike of WU, in more recent years since the passing of old Dean Aroden, things have been getting a little... wrong here. Some teachers or administrators grow obviously richer, while others seem to grow paranoid and terrified. The disciplinary committee is becoming more harsh and aggressive than any of them should be. People sometimes simply... disappear, and there are whispers of both mysterious figures and giant beasts seen on the grounds at night, lapping into the shadows. Things are not well in the old alma mater, and people are terrified. Somebody has to do something.
That somebody may just be you. A relatively new campus theatrical society, the Children of Westcrown, has sent you an invitation to an orientation meeting. Innocuous by itself, clubs love to spam mail and notices, after all, except for the second letter from senior Janet Ventusky talking about a little plan of hers. Whether you'd normally have any interest in theater or no, this is one meeting you don't want to miss.
Oh, and come in costume.
The AP: Council of Thieves.
The changes: many, as the AP requires, but the main one is the transfer to a school environment.
The tone/feel: theatricality and righting wrongs. Persona 5 is one of a number of major inspirations, and you'll be assuming new, marvelous identities for doing what needs to be done.
The mature content: Eh, you're eccentric college students. Experimentation is part of the fun. Just let's not get too hung up on it in session.
The schedule: Probably once every two weeks, with plenty of between sessions side material. I won't be doing Wednesdays, Saturdays, or Sundays in all likelihood.
The start date: That's just when apps close. An actual start date will be determined when the party is.
The party: Four to six people, most likely. Check out the chargen thread to get cooking on your apps if you're so inclined!
May your curtain calls never cease, everybody.
