New Earth

The year is 4081 AD, four millenia since the Ascension of Draykon. Since then the humans, elves, and other races that survived the near destruction of the world have spread out across the lands revealed with the retreating flood. Now, on the shores of the northern sea, the modern city of York teems with energy as most prepare to celebrate the Winter Solstice. Others consider it a miserable excuse to miss work, while others eagerly look forward to doing just that. Vehicles hum up and down the busy streets and people shove and cram their ways along the pavement. Elves nod to Humans, who walk around Dwarves, who suspiciously eye the Half-Orcs who grunt by. A mage steps out of a limousine, waving a hand arond himself as warm energy keeps the snow from gathering on his pressed suit. A sleek, white droid opens a door for a gnome technician who enters the lobby of his thirty-story office.

Just another day in the concrete paradise.

This campaign uses D&D 5e rules in a cyberpunk setting. It is predominantly text-based, with an optional live game on Sunday evenings for running combat encounters. There will be at least a week or two of roleplaying on the messenger service Discord before live games will begin, and the vast majority of the campaign will be through text RP. This includes combat, dialogue, character interactions, and more. This campaign is not about number-crunching, but about sharing and building a story and making plenty of friends in the process!

Participation in text-based roleplaying is required. Failure to keep up with text roleplaying on a regular basies will lead to removal from the game.
