Out of the Abyss!

My first run of Out of the Abyss, currently in the process of creating the maps i would like to gather a group to play this Underdark focused Module.
The estimated level is 1-15.
The general setting is dark and spooky, a bit Horror-y aswell.
Using discord to communicate, and roll20 for the visuals.

Character creation guideline:
Starting at level 1
Point buy (27 points)
Official classes and races allowed only. (eg PHB, Volos, Xanathars guide)
Unearthed arcana needs to be discussed first.
My own homebrew MIGHT be good, but thats a edge case
Starting equipment according to your class.
No evil alignment.
There will be a event that gets your characters together and into the Underdark.
Background plays only a minor part unless your character had planned to go to the Underdark already.

There are a few mechanics you might not have used before.
These include:
Madness
Exhaustion
Random Encounters (i usually dont do these so bear with me when im figuring them out!)
Hexcrawling
Exploration
NPC controlling in combat
