Star Wars: Galaxy in Turmoil

Hi all, I'm Sasquatch and welcome to my campaign page! I'm a long time Star Wars fan and experienced DM, and, until recently, had always wanted to run a Star Wars game but had been unimpressed with my options for what system to use. However, with the release of Amit Moshe's "City of Mist" system (a perfect crossing of the Apocalypse World engine and the Fate System), I've finally found a system that I feel is flexible and deep enough to encapsulate all the crazy options and lore of the Star Wars universe.

As for the game itself, it will take place in the Legends continuity, (The EU established by all the books and games before 2014, prior to Disney buying the rights to the franchise) in one of the following time periods: The Old Republic, The Clone Wars, The Empire, or The New Jedi Order. As a fan of the series I've found it difficult to select the era for my first Star Wars campaign, and have decided to leave the decision up to the players I select to join the campaign. Once the era has been chosen we can begin to collaboratively create the adventures your characters may find themselves in.

Now, some of you may have noticed the $10 monthly price tag the game comes with, however, don't worry about that too much. The money will be collected a week before the start of the month but will be refunded to any player that does not miss a session that month, or gives adequate notice beforehand that they will not be able to attend a session should they be unable to play. Hopefully that sounds fair to all you reading this, as I have had issues with player attendance in the past and hope that this should help to prevent any issues with player absences.
