Your whole life you’ve lived in the Luna Valley, a region settled upon a huge glacier. 1 month ago a meteor landed on the eastern edge. Since then the glacier has begun to melt, causing flash floods, huge sink holes and earthquakes.
(Original players) You are part of the last group leaving the flooded city of Safeharbour heading towards the only town not in ruins, Tomar’s Crossing.
(New player) Can also be refugee or a villager, any sort of outlander, reformed bandit, escaped prisoner. Or anything else you can come up with for the setting.
Details below, but essentially starts classic helping out 1 town with a few goblin dungeons, before getting more sandbox/player driven before concluding in a sizeable dungeon.
Will go from level 1 to level 20. Adventure is split into 4 parts. The group are just about to enter part 2
This is a 3rd party adventure that I will be customising, the summary from the author is:
• Level 1 to 5: A classic linear adventure core story arc with village intrigue, wilderness exploration, and dungeon mission play.
• Level 6 to 10: A "sandbox" stage when PCs are tough enough to brave the apocalyptic wilderness, letting them choose when and how to engage in story milestones.
• Level 11 to 15: A "hexcrawl" portion where content is dynamically generated letting players roam freely throughout the valley.
• Level 16 to 20: A mega-dungeon finale with an exciting balance of roleplaying and action elements.
• A player-driven narrative that puts tough choices in front of their characters to determine the direction and outcome of adventures.
Rough game type percentages, for first bit. Will then adapt to what players want
Combat/exploration/social: 40/20/40
Dungeon/town/Wilderness: 30/40/30
Combat will be a mix of deadly 1/day fights and multiple ‘moderate’ to ‘hard’ fight days.
Play Wednesday nights 19:30 to 21:30 UK times. Realise this seems short but its best for work schedules and I promise plenty will be achieved each session. Do shopping, character advancement etc outside settings.
Expect full campaign to last approx. 1 year real life time.
My two main priorities are fun and keeping the game moving. I like the rules, but willing to bend them to enjoy the game more. Generally prefer a lighter heroic feel.Characters will still have to make tough decisions and be in dangerous situations, but players can have a laugh about it.
Also I’m terrible at voices.
Have 4, looking for 1 more. Main things I’m looking for are good attendance, attentive and communitive. Be there, pay attention and let me know which bits you enjoy and which could improve.

Pretty much anything in books allowed. UA probably allowed if asked.
Not forgotten realms setting. So some races can have different fluff with same mechanics. Not really an Underdark/ below ground area, and no big cities of specific races, more of a metropolitan mix. But can add stuff in for those wanting to play more exotic races.
I’m happy if you want to reflavour anything as long as it doesn’t change mechanics. Rapier as a ‘elven longsword’, Rage as a ‘battle focus’, Wildshape as hybrid human animal form etc
Not restricting alignments, but as always don’t make a character that ruins other people’s fun or wouldn’t team up with others.
Stat generation:
Standard 27 point buy. After which you have 1 free increase to add anywhere (cannot be used to reach 18 in a stat)
Alice as Rose the rock gnome evocation wizard
Jon as Elias the shadar'kai eldritch knight fighter
Matt as Runnel the water genesi moon druid
Richard as Ubo the tortle storm sorcerer
Currently at level 6. Book 2 just starting.
The characters have been establishing themselves in the only remaining village, Tomar’s Crossing. They have been helping find food and shelter for the many refugees and dabbling in town politics.
Their main adventure has been ensuring the villages safety from a tribe of goblins and a bandit gang. Both led by a necromancer called Ralekai who has been kidnapping villagers.
They have also began to hear rumours of a horrible plague set to wipe out civilisation, and the odd demonic influence here and there. They have just found a route to potentially solving the plague problem
