I have created a number of episodic mini dungeons and adventures that are designed to be played in a single session (4 hours). These are completely of my own design. The benefit of this is they can be replayed with different players and future scenarios can be made up from new players or with gamer's from previous groups. This means we get a variety of players and varying party makeups. The large pool of players will allow for regular sessions too. Experience and loot will follow on to future games so you have a reason to come back and develop your character when ever you choose. This one shot style play will cater for the people who cannot commit to long term campaigns, like to play with new players, want to test new class setups and get their D&D 'kick down the door' fix. My custom built maps will be a nice change to the same published campaign modules repeated on Roll20. Whilst most of my dungeons will have opportunity for roleplay do not expect long drawn out negotiations or political debates on global issues ;-)

About Me...

I am an experienced Dungeon Master of about 15yrs+ who can improvise, voice act and 'roll with it'. I like to say yes where possible and aim to play challenging but enjoyable games. I play by the book so where there is a rule I will stick to it for continuity purposes. I am currently GM'ing a Dragon Heist campaign with the same group of 'paying' players for 20+ months now and they keep coming back so I must be doing something right! I have the monster manual, players handbook and Xanther's compendiums that will be shared with my players in game. I have a PRO account so have access to all the mod cons. Sessions will be listed in advance with a brief synopsis and level suggestion. Players will then post interest, join the game and make their characters prior to the session using standard point buy scheme (15,14,13,12,10,8) or using a default hero I've created. So longs we get a group of 3-6 players the game will commence.

Payment?

£7.50 payment by Paypal must be made before the session. This is cheaper than going to the cinema or having a game of bowling and I am confident you will enjoy my game. Whilst this is a pay to play service please don't apply if you are a player who constantly disrupts, swears and likes to mess about to the annoyance of others. I like to give everyone their chance to shine...

Communications:

We will be using Discord for voice chat. Please have an account ready and tested so there are no issues pre game. I will send the link once accepted and you can contact me directly through it anytime. I will reply when I am conscious and able to!

Character Creation?

Character creation will be classes and races from PHB, and all other official publications by WOTC. I use most variant rules including variant human, tumble, overrun, encumbrance, flanking etc. Stats will be determined using standard array (15,14,13,12,10,8). Starting equipment as PHB, either rolled or take suggestion for class. Once accepted and in the game I will give access to a char sheet where you can use the new 'Charactermancer'. Players who get into character, roleplay their flaws and traits will be rewarded with regular inspiration!

References:

I use this same game page to play regular one shots and players will be kicked after the game to allow new players to join. Your characters will not be deleted or edited in case you decide to come back for future sessions.
