The Atomic Tango: Heroes Unlimited

Hello True Believers! Do you enjoy the Silver Age of Super Heroes of Lee and Kirby? Do you embrace the cosmically campy? I think you might be the player I'm looking for! Please read the preface!

I am a new GM looking to run an ongoing Heroes Unlimited 2nd edition game. This will be played via Discord and the listed time is subject to change, but will try to keep to a Saturday morning start every other week.

I want to be open to play pick up side games/down time roleplaying when time permits. Say the main arch is at a point where the supers are at home or in their base of operations and you want to prowl the streets for baddies, and you catch me or ask me if I am available for a mini sesh with yourself or a few others in the group. Let's get the dice out and see if you get that exotic weapon on the black market, or you progress in your career as a musician or whatever. I spend a lot of down time in front of my PC that I wish I was RPing on the weekends, let's get weird.

I would like to start with a core of 4 or 5 mutants (I have an idea of how the series starts) but if you want your alien or hardware character to join in I would like that to be integrated after session 0. Ultimately I would like to assemble a cadre of players that if one drops out or life happens, your character is AWOL for that session as it would be explored in a comic, but the assembled team can still get down to business.

I really do not want munchkins or rules lawyers. I want to have fun, palladium is a crunchy system, and HU supers are already a tad OPed to begin with.
