Dnd 5e Hyperlanes: Space Sci-fi

Update: still looking for 3 to 4 players, don't worry if you have never played hyperlanes before. It's really easy. :-) (you don't need the book as i can help you create the dnd character sheet with the info you need.)

Earth 2154 we are finally getting a foothold on the solar system. A few million people on Mars, Venus. A few colonies on the nearby stars. But dangers are lurking just out of sight. As you take your next assignment with the Federal Navy something feels different. The admiralty seems on edge. Welcome to our future.

This first session provides us a chance to test some roleplay and flesh out your character. This way we can both find out if we click.If we do not, no hard feelings :-D

You will start at level 1 and the idea is to go all the way up to 20

Hyperlanes is a modification of DND 5e rules to a sci-fi setting.

##House rules
Matthew Mercer rules are in effect. You can cast a Bonus action gambits and a gambit on the same turn, healing packs take a bonus action to take etc.
Enemies also have access to these abilities.

Guaranteed Play Time

Scheduling conflicts and the loss of a DM can bring even a great game to a halt. Hiring a professional ensures that your time will be honored, and that the game will run on a regular schedule.

Consistent Quality

A session should provide an escape from the doldrums of everyday life and should be a place to immerse yourself in another world. Be it exploring the edges of the solar system or drinking at a station, the experience should be satisfying.

Challenge

You will be challenged in my game, there will be difficult moments and mature moments that will push you and your character.

I would suggest we play with audio. But we could go audio and video if the whole group agrees.

Who Am I?

Hey My Name is Jp and i have been a dungeon master for 5 years and a player for at least a dozen years. I have already guided a group from level 1 to level 20 and am trying out this paid DM thing
I am looking for players that are willing to take some risks and maybe save the worlds.

What can you expect from me.

A hard sci-fi setting fully fleshed out with organizations and places to explore, real physics interesting locations and tough choices. My philosophy is story first and I will bend the rules when it makes sense, My style is very inspired by Master Mercer and Colville and you should expect a story that evolves with your choices. Political intrigue and personal growth. If you have ever seen the Expanse that is the sort of game atmosphere i would like to strive for.

Expectations

Players are expected to treat each other and the DM with respect.
Arrive on-time. Please provide advanced notice if you cannot attend.
Payment is due at least 48 hours before the game. Payments are final at 48 hours before game.
I will respond to questions throughout the week and can be available to help with character sheet updates and new player concerns.
I have the final say on rulings. While suggestions or reminders will be accepted arguing or attempting to rules lawyer will result in expulsion from the game.
Players will be invited to the Dedicated Discord server. The server will be used for the game.

This game is being offered as Pay-to-Play.

Sessions cost €8/player and run up to 4 hours. After the first month of good attendance we can discuss a discount for monthly payment
