Shadowmore

I'm running a Rogue only campaign centered around a band of misfits who have come together in order to form the start of a criminal organization within a fairly large and thriving city. As a rogue, you will likely rob, scam, plot, sway, fall in love, or cause heartbreak in a world of turmoil. It will be up to you on how you will become the biggest scumbags the people have ever seen or the easiest to hang because you failed like the cowards that you are. Shadowmore is a campaign of dishonor, thievery, and most importantly, treasures from the backs of the weak and incompetent.

-Campaign Summary-

This is a campaign for criminals, burglars, thieves and other scum of the realm. Please create and submit a character that reflects that of a Rogue class with an interesting background of your choosing. Characters will begin at level 1 using the standard rules within an epic fantasy setting. Please no LE, NE, CE as this could potentially break the story thread at the beginning. Create at your own risk.

-Requirements-

1) No power gamers. Looking for people who actually want to role-play to some extent.
2) Must be willing to play once a week around 8PM eastern standard time (US).
3) Must have voice communications. No exceptions.
4) Must create a Rogue character and follow the rest of the guidelines below.

Some things to consider. If you get pissed off easily, don't join. I'm looking for casual fun people who want to actually play D&D from both an immersive and role-playing standpoint.

-Inspiration & Renown-

Both Inspiration and Renown will be used in this campaign. Renown will be tracked from a guild faction standpoint and from an individual character standpoint to make good use of criminal connections.

-Character Creation-

Please refer to the players handbook on character creation. We will be starting our adventures at level 1, and I do encourage creating your character ahead of time unless you need my assistance. There are some good videos on Rogue creation on Youtube that can help you if you are new. Equipment purchases as above should be followed to the player handbook guidelines.

-Character Submission-

Refer to the LFG forums. Submit your character name as the title with a short summary of your character with any questions you have for me or the campaign. I'm active and will let you know your status promptly.

-Unique Requests-

There are always people who ask if they can create something unique and custom that is not part of the requirements, but think it would fit nicely. For example, some type of dual-class combo that is not a Rogue, but plays like one. The answer would be, "No." The campaign is based around a group of misfits who are rogues in nature and helps set the story for the players involved.

Don't get too hung up on rules and mechanics. Have fun, get immersed, and lets play!
