TIME IS A PLACEHOLDER!
I absolutely love DMing and prepping every week for the next session, adapting everything to the outcome of the previous session, but loving it doesn't take away all the time it takes along with the time taken to play. Charging players to pay will give me the chance to (live, eat and possibly move from my country) keep doing this regularly with more easy and comfort, and on top of this, paying will ensure a few things:
There's certainly a level of responsibility created when you pay to play, level of responsibility that most free games on Roll20 lack, in my experience, after just a few sessions on a free game something happens and the group stops playing, players lose interest or one of the players stops showing and the rest of the group falls apart. Paying tends to get rid of this issue, as they feel the need to play their money's worth.
This payment will be made before each session, the first payment will be made a week before the first session so I can create everything needed to start, this will guarantee you a place in the game, in case you are not satisfied with the final product, you are free to ask for a refund.
Hi! I'm Abraham and I'm 24 years old, I currently live in Venezuela, I may not have the trajectory other DMs have throughout the years, but I do have a lot of time DMing, with over 2100 hours of Roll20 DMing I have a solid grasp around the site and the system, I've been a DM most of the time and it's what I love to do. During all those hours I've presented challenges to my players that cover more aspects than just combat, they also cover social and exploration; often inspired from a wide range of media, books, movies and games that tend to be far from fantasy, my games are not easy and I don't fudge dice, but I do reward teamwork and creative solutions, as well as great roleplaying
On top of this, I tend to create Homebrew content that adapts to the 5e wording and mechanics, so it feels natural and easy to use and understand
La Taberna del Dragon is an initiative for you, the player and bellow you can learn about all the things you can do in this place:
If you answered yes to any of these, then you are in the right place, I offer my services as a DM so that you and your group can have a nice time.
Well, whatever you want!
I have two settings of my own creation Edandor, which is a more traditional setting, high magic and inspired in Forgotten Realms, and on the other side I have Santabregat, a grittier one, low-to-mid magic, urban and dungeon delvy (depending on the player's decisions) , having a wide range of choice where to pick (They are better explained in the applications post).
I also have one shots and short adventures of my own, or I could even write something that adapts to your group's preferences.
I also own several of the official modules from WotC to run, this, however, would require a bit more preparation on my part, that means that I could need an extra week to have everything up and running.
I personally use several House Rules with my own group, and I would have no issues with extending those to you too, as well as including the House Rules and Variants the group wants to play with.
From me you can expect a game full of possibilities and freedom without any magical force dragging you around, custom maps, enemies that think with real logic and a variety of cultures and races that make the world feel alive.
From the players I expect them to act like mature and responsible human beings, with civil discussions and in-character, although I do understand that every group is different and can have a different concept of fun, if everyone's not okay with an attitude, then it's an issue that will have to be solved.
You can contact me through Roll20 or you can fill out an application in the listing's discussions, in the meantime I don't have any specific game, but I will give my two settings to choose and we could start something with the ones that are interested.
This varies slightly from game to game, but the general rule is any official product including Unearthed Arcana, except UA: Modern Magic, Ravnica and Plane Shifts, always preferring published books over UA. Any homebrewed class can be discussed with the DM, I've used the ones published by Matthew Mercer, All the lights in the sky are stars by aeyana and the Pugilist by Benjamin Huffman. Of course some of these restrictions can be removed in the given case the group wants to play any of those kind of games.
This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $15 USD per Session. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements
We'll send a message to this Game's GM asking their permission to let you join the game. If you want, you can include a brief message below as well:
