NW Campaign

Currently our players have finished playing through Waterdeep: Dragon Heist and they now venture into Saltmarsh to unveil the truth behind the issues at hand.

About Me
I've been DMing since 2014. I've hosted at least a dozen one-shot adventures, a homebrew campaign, and a Lost Mines of Phandelver campaign, a Waterdeep: Dragon Heist campaign, and an Acquisitions Incorporated campaign.
I'm going to be using the special effects where I can, as well as epic music, voice modulation, and sound effects to enhance the experience.

Homebrew Rules
- Allowed Player Handbook + 1 other book to create characters
- Abilities at level 1 are chosen either by point buy or by the 4d6 method.
- HP gain is IAW the PHB. Roll for your class HP on level up. If it is lower than the default (i.e. 5 + CON modifier for monks), then you'll take the default instead of the roll.
- Leveling is acquired through milestone
- Flanking is allowed and awards +3 to attack rolls.
- Grappling feat removed. Grappler feat incorporated in game.
--- You have advantage on Attack rolls against a creature you are Grappling.
--- You can use your action to try to pin a creature Grappled by you. To do so, make another grapple check. If you succeed, you and the creature are both Restrained until the grapple ends.
- Drinking potions is a bonus action. Feeding them to others is an action.
- When proned, only requires 10 ft of movement to stand back up.
- When disarmed, picking up the weapon provides an attack of opportunity.
- Sentinel feat updated to include: When a proned creature within 5 feet of you attempts to stand, you may use your reaction to attack it and attempt to knock it back prone for the rest of its turn.
- Force of Will: You may take one level of exhaustion to perform an additional action. This does not permit exception to the spell casting rules per round.

Rule Clarity
Ammunition is tracked
Rapiers are included for dual wielding purposes
