Rise of the Yuan-ti

 Across the Emerald Sea, covered with dense, fetid jungles and the collapsed detritus of ancient empires lies the continent of Yura. Home to the queen of the Eastern cities, jeweled and golden Magava, Yura is a continent of bustling trade, exotic desires, and legendary intrigue. Fabled for her precious stones, spices worth their weight in gold, and bazaars teeming with every conceivable pleasure of metal and of flesh, it is said if it cannot be found in Yura it is not worth buying. A gold coin can buy a man untold sin and a handful can purchase his darkest desires. Yura guards her wealth jealously and protects her gilded, elite masters. Yura is nominally ruled by an Emperor/Empress, but true power rests in the firm grasp of seven Satraps, men and women of obscene wealth and immeasurable power, truly answerable only to the all-consuming allure of gold. But for all her charms Yura is a land of danger, secrecy, corruption and conspiracy. Mysterious, treacherous and decadent Yura whispers to those who seek fortune and power.

We are looking for a new player to join our group. Your character will be starting at level 15. The story is already well under way. If chosen we will discuss in person aspects of the game. I am looking for characters who are interested in lore (the games are very lore driven), are interested in role-play, and generally don't take themselves too seriously. Currently, I have a cleric and I rogue/fighter so I would prefer a class that is not one of the two mentioned. TIME IS A PLACEHOLDER.

How to Apply: Now that all the business is out of the way let’s start the fun part, designing your character! Please fill out the application listed in the Application for An Interested Player Tab. We will roll for stats in Roll 20. Please observe the following limits:

· Anything released by WoTC is allowed (no unearthed arcana)

· You may use any homebrew from: http://mfov.magehandpress.com/p/homebrew.html

· Your character is not from Yura and is a foreigner (backstory purposes)

· I do not use alignment (I find it overly simplistic)

· Factions/Groups are listed in the faction tab. You do not need to be part of a faction but if you are you cannot be the leader or a high ranking member of any faction.

· Religion: Gods are listed in the religions and religions cont. tab. Most are taken from pg. 10 of The Dungeon Master’s Guide (Dawn War Pantheon) The rest are unique Yuran Gods. I suggest against Aythhuism, but the choice is yours.

· If you have any questions, or would like more detail on a faction or god, please message me directly. Don’t be afraid to ask anything or express any concerns. I don’t shoot eye beams.
