Malkor's Mysterium: The Secrets of Skyhorn Lighthouse

You and your companions find yourself in the small fishing village of Pinepass in the northern regions of the Swordcoast. Rumors of a rampaging sea monster have ground shipping traffic to a halt in the harbor. What sort of events will you get yourself into this time? What watery fate awaits you?

This is a level 5 one-shot which will use a variety of maps, tokens, the like to give you an enjoyable experience today.

For character creation:
Level 5
27 point buy
Average HP for ease
Most WotC books are allowed (no monsterous races)
No variant humans or lucky feat
Backgrounds from Quest books are allowed
No UA or homebrew
Class and background starting equipment + 150gp spending money, one potion of healing, and lastly you can take one of these options:
-Upgrade one starting or bought weapon to a +1 weapon
-Upgrade your starting or bought armor to a +1 armor
-Obtain an Ioun stone of Protection
-Obtain a +1 Wand of the War Mage
