The village of Greenfork, nestled deep within a forested valley on the outskirts of civilization has sent out a call for aid. Heroes and adventures are needed to help save an innocent girl from a gruesome fate. Treacherous green skinned goblins carried off the miller's daughter several days ago and the villagers fear the worst. A significant reward has been offered to anyone that can find her and bring her back to safety. In addition, a hefty sum of gold has been offered to any that can to put an end to the goblin menace. You are one of a couple that have answered the call and are about to embark on a perilous endeavor.
How long are games?
Typically around 3-4 hours.
Any homebrew rules?
I used a number of homebrew rules that you can find in a post below, it covers things like character creation and gameplay changes. Most of the rules though are non-intrusive and wouldn't affect RAW gameplay unless players choose to use them, though some do.
What should I know about this campaign?
The Burning Goblins has a decent amount of combat. If you don't like combat this might not be the game for you.
I've made some modifications to this adventure to allow for more roleplay, but ultimately the adventure doesn't force you into long periods of conversing with NPCs unless you make the choice to do so. It will be up the the players to show me their desire to roleplay by initiating it, and in turn, I will be happy to do my best to accommodate this desire.
The Burning Goblins takes place around the village of Greenfork which is a small village on the outskirts of civilization therefore it lacks most of the amenities and shops of most cities. Certain items and services will be unavailable in this village
I'm looking for players who care enough to actually read the campaign listing, so please include the phrase "Sticky Fingers" somewhere in your application.
The Burning Goblins is dependent on player actions but it will normally last somewhere around 2-4 sessions
This game is PG-13, which means we can fucking swear all we fucking want, and you can beat the shit out of the bad guys and cut their fucking heads off, but there will be no on-screen sex or any graphic mutilation. It can however be implied as long as it has reasonable purpose.
What should we know about you as a DM?
I'm 20.I am from Romania and I have been playing D&D, pathfinder and other systems for 3 years now. I have tried my hand at dming a couple time but have not run anything more extensive than a couple oneshots therefore I may be green and I might make some beginners mistakes, so do bear with me. I try to accommodate what players want so I am willing to bend some rules if it would make the game more fun for you as long as it's reasonable and it brings something worthwhile to the game.
If I don't get enough players for the game by the 19th the game will be delayed to the 26th.
Provided this goes well I might keep on running the game in the same world and the same characters but in a different adventure.
We'll send a message to this Game's GM asking their permission to let you join the game. If you want, you can include a brief message below as well:
