What is it about Saltmarsh that seems to attract trouble? Warring lizardfolk, encroaching sharkmen, sinister cultists, a scheming Dutchy, and Blood Thirsty pirates willing to work for the highest bidder.
Explore the region of Saltmarsh in a module mashup that combines Ghost of Saltmarsh and Evil Tides and experience the many aquatic threats looming off the shores of the Sword Coast.
Join the crew. Our heroes have already acquired a ship of their own and operate as privateers serving the town of Saltmarsh and safeguarding the region from rival factions and deadly monsters.
Explore above and below the waves as you uncover more secrets of intrigue and eldritch horror.
Using the rules and adventures detailed in The Ghosts of Salt Marsh, this campaign will involve:
💀 Sailing a ship
💀 Exploration
💀 Mystery
💀 Eldritch horror (just a smidge)
💀 Sharks. So many sharks.
💀 Battles on shore, sea, and underwater.
💀 PIRATES
💀 And much much more.
The current band of heroes is a collection of five Saltmarsh locals on the rise to greatness, currently employed by the town of Saltmarsh as Privateers. A gregarious lizardfolk moon druid, a mysterious fey glamour bard, an inquisitive wood elf beastmaster, a pragmatic dwarven forge cleric, and a rowdy black dragonborn thug. They are so friendly and so fun.
It's a 5e adventure compilation involving coastal adventures that run levels 1-11.
Evil tides is a coastal, seafaring, and underwater adventure path from 2nd edition dungeons and dragons!
When the sun sinks low, the sea devils rise dripping from the dark waves. They swarm like sharks, lethal and unstoppable. Death glints like a promise in their rabid eyes, and the blood of their prey paint their claws and teeth scarlet.
Night after night they come, slaying all who stand in their way. Their sudden raids have devastated the island, bringing fishing and commerce to a halt as the people cower in their homes, dreading the next sunset. Desperate, the settlement of Salt Marsh has sent for help from daring adventurers willing to face the devil men of the deep. But more secrets lurk beneath the waves: this is no passing attack but part of a more sinister, secret design by the most dangerous and capable enemy to inhabit the dark seas.

Gorgeous maps and tokens, exciting soundtrack, Pro roll20 account with dynamic lighting and API scripts. DM with 26 years of experience.
Online I go by the handle CrashGem. I’ve been playing and Game Mastering D&D and other Tabletop games for over 26 years. I was a play-tester for 5e and have been playing it since release. I am very well versed in the rules. I’ve been using Roll20 for over 5 years, with over 6000 hours logged, dynamic lighting access, API scripts, and the skill to use them. As a graphic artist, I create custom miniatures, maps, and materials for the games I run.
As a professional development expert, I am comfortable teaching others new skills (Like D&D and how to use Roll20, for example). I also spent several years demoing tabletop and wargames at conventions for various companies. I am very comfortable at the gaming table.
I also enjoy running 25-hour super games as fundraisers for the Extra Life charity. In the past 3 years, we have raised over $8000 for Children's Hospital Networks.
My goal as a game master is to ensure each and every player “at the table” is having fun. Together we will build stories you will be retelling for the rest of your life.
"From RP, rules interpretation, flow of the game, ensuring each player is involved, DM provided resources (oh man this is a huge one), and being fun and personable as well... top notch. DM resources - this is one point I wanted to touch on because I DM and enjoy Roll20 for its uses but from music to maps, to macros, templates for spells and terrain and all other things... Crash does it all and does it *well! If I didn't think I was getting my money's worth, I would have hardly signed up for a second game."*
-Lareonis
"Crash is an outstanding DM, character voices, lots of roll20 & D&D Beyond content access, mods for roll20 to fit your character, a very engaged presence in the discord chat. Crash is the reason I pay2play. I highly recommend playing in one of his campaigns."
-Matthew C.
“Through a series of unfortunate events, my character died by his own hands. Instead of sitting around and doing nothing, he made me a ghost and let me haunt the party for the rest of the dungeon. He is quick on his feet and a veteran DM who loves sprinkling in aspects of different games/editions to complement his games. It’s a unique experience I haven’t found anywhere else, and a lot of my cherished characters come from his games.”
-Michael T.
"From helping me through my first games of DND that I clumsily stumbled through, to keeping the more veteran players entertained with his punishing style of monsters, CrashGem has proven to be a fantastic GM. Perfect 5/7, would play again."
-Spencer D.

I started running paid games in April of 2018 after experiencing a few paid games as a player. I was impressed with the commitment and investment of my fellow players and the DM. I wanted to run some campaigns that had that same level of commitment from everyone involved. I've found the literal investment in the group translates directly into how invested everyone is in the success of the campaign itself.
Players in my games gain full access to the expanded Roll20 compendium AND the Legendary Tier access to DNDBeyond. That means legal, searchable copies of all published books and adventures and robust character-building tools.
Players also gain access to a very active Discord community with character builds, D&D memes, rules discussions, and DM "masterclass" sessions.
Additionally, dues collected from group members are used to purchase DMGuild add-on supplements for published campaigns, pro level Roll20 options like dynamic lighting and API scripts, and ensure only the finest maps and miniatures.
When I commit to running a campaign I follow through to the campaign's finale. Nothing is worse than investing your time and energy into a campaign that never reaches its conclusion.
This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $15 per session via PayPal.
