A world of wonder and amazement, Eberron is a long-standing, D&D official setting that takes place in a world after a continent-spanning, hundred-year-long Last War! A bit like the First World War of our world, the Last War was just as horrible as it was formative, changing the continent of Khorviare and even the greater world forever!
The war saw the Dragonmarked Houses - bearers of ancient, hereditary and mysterious magical markings innovate, eldritch machines like airships, lightning rails, and the sentient robot-like Warforged being pioneered for the sake of war. War became less of knights and honorable battles as magic began to proliferate among even the common soldiery, with techniques like ‘wandslinging’ being taught to give a warrior an edge in battle, while giant hordes of alchemically undead and Warforged were brought in. And now, after the Day of Mourning, a mysterious event that obliterated the nation of Cyre entirely and turned it into a sick, twisted Mourneland, the war is over, and a shaky, tumultuous peace holds.
In present-day Eberron, magic is everywhere. It’s a science of its own, artificers and tinkerers giving society eldritch machines both big and small - everything from a House Ghallanda inn’s cleansing stone, where anyone can clean their clothing with just a touch, to the floating towers of Sharn, Breland’s grand metropolis.
Just like that ever-present magic are the dangers that peek in from the corners of this shaky, continent. The Emerald Claw sit behind the rulers of Kharrnath, manipulating them from the shadows. The Silver Flame crusades to eliminate what they deem evil. The Warforged ask questions with their newfound freedom - ‘what is my purpose outside of war?’, ‘why do I exist?’, ‘why do my people not have a voice in the world?’.
Across the ocean to the south, the blasted continent of Xen’drik offers worrisome answers to questions that should better be left unasked, yet may hold the secrets of countless wonders that could enrich the world - or destroy it forever. To the east is the mysterious continent of Sarlona, the cradle of humanity. The Inspired and their living-nightmare masters having created a grand domain of individuals left oddly complacent and docile, this Riedran empire beginning to sink its psychic talons into Eberron as a whole.
Together, we’ll make an awesome character immersed in this huge, expansive setting, and weave together a living, breathing campaign, no matter the scope! Start at level one as someone whose journey is just beginning in this world, or level three to five as an individual with experience - perhaps as someone forged in the fires of the Last War, trying to shake the horrors from their mind?
Generally I aim for parties of three-to-four, with the max being five! Grab some friends or make new ones and I’m excited to see what kind of story we can make together!
Either in short ‘Chronicle’ form, with one to two session short stories, or as part of a large, overarching campaign spanning dozens, I’d be happy to show you this world of artifice and uncertainty!
Flexible dates depending on player availability is available, though I operate off of EST time and try to keep only a single session of a particular game a week!
In addition, this game will be text-based, instead of voice, with variable post lengths available!
I love this hobby to bits, and if it were up to me, I’d bring the setting of Eberron to life for everyone… However, money is needed to allow me access to the best resources - like a Roll20 subscription, assets and materials for research and to improve my own DMing.
My payment plan is as follows: $10 CAD per person (about $7.5 USD, subject to exchange rates) paid in advance for a session that lasts five hours, coming out to $2 an hour. You may also opt to pay $40 CAD for an entire month of sessions. The first session I run is usually Session Zero and character creation, in which we talk a bit about what kind of things we’re interested in seeing in the game, what themes and tones we’re going for, and what kinds of characters and connections those characters have to each other and the world!
In regards to the Session Zero, however I don’t require that attendants pay in advance, and if you’re not a fan of the ideas tossed around, or the character you made for this game, no worries, you don’t need to pay for it at the end and I’ll wish ya a good time elsewhere! After this session, however, if you want to continue playing, you’ll have to pay for it, and in advance for the next.
Here are two quick examples of snippets from past Roll20 games I’ve ran:
The Monk and Lieutenant Kessler

An excerpt from a short ‘Eberron Story’ I DMed in the past, relating to a wandering Warforged monk, exploring a world recovering from the Last War. This is a brief snippet of an exchange between him and a Karrnathi Necromancer.
Medical Evacuation in the Holding Area

From a previous Adeptus Evangelion game I’ve ran, this is just a short exchange between a few characters who have unknowingly wandered into a dangerous area of the labyrinthine Operations Center.
