Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus

Welcome to Baldur’s Gate, a city of ambition, corruption and murder. You’ve just started your adventuring career, but already find yourself embroiled in a plot that sprawls from the shadows of Baldur’s Gate to the front lines of the Blood War!

Do you have what it takes to turn the infernal war machines and nefarious contracts against the archdevil Zaril and her diabolical legions? Can you find your way home safely when pitted against the infinite evils the Nine Hells?

A tenday ago, Grand Duke Ulder Ravengard left Baldur’s Gate with a company of Flameing Fist soldiers on a diplomatic mission to Elturel, accepting a formal invitation from Elturel’s High Overseer, Thavius Kreeg. Not long after Ravengard arrived in Elturel, the city fell.

When making characters for the game the books that can be used is Player’s Handbook, Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, Volo’s Guide to Monsters, Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes, Elemental Evil Players Companion and Tal’dorei Campaign Setting but I’ll have final say of what exactly can be used. I don’t have access to all the books on roll20 but I own physical copies of them, so if you want to use character options from other than the Player Handbook you may have to put in a little more work into your character sheet.
This will be my first time DMing and playing a campaign on roll20, so this will be a learning experience for me and hopefully for you to because I’ll be open to new and experience player’s. Learning to together as we move forward.
I plan to run at least the first two chapters of the book and a little of the third chapter because of time schedule for me after summer it will be difficult to set time aside to play but we will see. I’ll be running the game with 60% Combat, 25% Exploration and 15% Role Play. We will be using Discord for voice chat.
If you have played the game campaign before or you are watching Roll20 Presents like me, that won’t be a problem just please say so and know I’ll be making changes at certain points. Consequences are part of my game, so don’t expect heavy ploy armor to be placed on your characters, character death is possible. Thou this be my first campaign, I want a little bit of a serious game, to keep the game moving.

Currently Looking for a Bard and a Ranged damage character.
