Fire Emblem: Rising Heroes

In the rich world of Cardonia, there is a tale of a wayward group of vagabonds and misfits, coming together to defeat an ancient evil. In a time of war and calamity, they alone stood against the true evil of the world. A tale of love and hate as cultist and monsters alike rise from the decrepit underbellies of the earth to install havoc. A tale of a lone lord obtaining the power of...the Fire Emblem. This is…..not that story. This is the aftermath of the story...in the very distant future. Those misfits you heard about earlier? Yeah, heroes of the nation, every last one of them. Some of them didn’t even fight that much yet still got much of the credit. One of the documented heroes just drove a wagon around the whole time. Not once did they fight. I digress though. In this future, whispers of war and chaos are...nonexistent. The world for once is at peace. As an emphasis of said peace, an initiative was made to further the education of the newer generations. Therefore, the Guardian Academies were founded and each named after one of the 8 heroes of legend. In the north tundra region of Belros, the most prestigious Academy of the Hero King Matthias for the best of the best. To the far east, the coastal region of Theanas, home to the Dragon General Alabaster and his Academy for stupendous young men. To the west in the arid desert region of Fara; home to Warrior Queen Vitalya and her school for exceptional young women. In the southern plains of Cyrin, the schools of the Wizard Savant Hokrus school of sorcerer and his twin sister’s, St. Palia, academy for the faithful and blessed. Last, in the small peninsula of Dravina, the more “affordable” academies for the wayward, the shifty, and the poor. Each representing Duskmail the Stalwart Juggernaut, the Silent Death Seisin, and the Bumbling Merchant Juniper respectively. All who go to these academies have usually one goal in mind; to become an official Guardian. The most acclaimed students usually go to live in the capital, Elonia, and word directly under his majesty King Jarifold and live a lavish and luxurious life. Those who still do well get well paying jobs around Cardonia. Those who do poorly are left to rot. It’s a very competitive occupation, and not for the easily perturbed.

You are one of the many applicants taking your entrance exam to try to aim for one of the top 5 schools to get a good job and a better future for yourself (and family if applies) However, due to cruel fate or the spite of the gods, you find yourself in the lowests of lows, Juniper’s Academy for Future Guardians. To make matters worse, you land yourself directly in Class F, the lowest ranked class with the lowest funds and a graduation rate of 0%. The cards are pitted against you. Will you kneel and fall or will you rise to the challenge and pave your own future regardless of the odds?

Hello helo hello. DM speaking. Thank you so much for reading through all of that dribble but now for the good stuff. As you can see the game is planned to not start for a while. This may become earlier but at most in April and even then middle to late. I currently have a pact scheduled and it won't ease up until then. If that is fine for you then please apply. I'll have what the applicant should have in it there but understand a few things. This game is still the core fire emblem you know and love. It's system is closest to Fates if I had to pick one with minor tweaks. There is no set PDF but I have all potential answers ready and spreadsheets for things such as class growth rates and what not. As for the story, I'd have to say its more like the first part of 3H minus the implications of war. There will be side plots and other things but I have no plan to have it flirt with the line of full out war. The story is about the students learning to overcome life itself. Best of luck to you applicants.

Please understand. The game begins in May but your character's join time may vary based on what class you are and what the party needs.
