Tal'dorei Campaign Sunday Weekly

Hey everyone, my name is Hakurai. I have been acting as a DM and playing DnD now for over 10 years and have experience as both a Dungeon Master and a player in multiple homebrew and module-based games. I have successfully ran several paid year long campaigns on Roll20 thus far, and as they come to a close I am preparing to set out on new adventures with a new group of players!

Tal'dorei Campaign Setting:

The story that you and your allies will embark on will take place in the wonderful world of Tal'dorei that has been created by the very talented Matt Mercer, and played out in the popular series Critical Role. The campaign will take place 1 year after the events of the Critical Role campaign, where you will tell your own story of adventure and hardship in the World of Tal'dorei. We will be starting off with a free session 0 for everyone to meet each other and discuss what sort of DnD game we want to play, and our characters. Following that, each player will get a free 1 on 1 session with me to introduce their character to the campaign and get used to playing their characters with me, before all characters unite in the first session.

You will be joining a campaign already in progress during the 10th session, one of our players is stepping out due to work schedule changes and so we're looking for a replacement of no particular class at this time! The current party make up consists of:
Rogue, Druid, Monk, Bard/Sorc.

What to Expect:

A mix of open-ended and story-driven elements, so that the players can control the world the way they want to and choose how to handle the evils of Tal'dorei.
* All official Wizards of the Coast books are allowed for characters. Anything from the Tal'dorei Campaign Guide and the Wildemount Campaign Guide.
* Rolling for Stats (Roll 4, keep 3 highest). If the accumulated rolled stats do not add up to 72, then a reroll will occur. The must happen in Roll20 chat log so that I can confirm it is legitimate.
* Roughly 60% RP, 40% combat, with some puzzles, mysteries, ect. mixed in.
* Starting at level 4
* Tal'dorei Campaign, self-made maps, monsters, tokens and items as well as some popular and well known character and story elements from the popular Critical Role series
* Voice chat and communications will be done through discord
* A weekly journal of the previous sessions events (not a substitute for notes on minute details)

Additional Information:

The campaign will be played in 4 hour sessions on Sundays at 4-6:00pm EST every week.** Each session will cost 15$ per player, or 50$ for 1 month(4 sessions)** and are to be paid by Paypal a minimum of 2 hours before the start of a session. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. New players are welcome, I have no trouble introducing people to the great game of DnD or the roll20 platform.

Having a copy of the Tal'dorei campaign book will be helpful, but not required. Having seen Critical Role will be helpful, but not a prerequisite to playing the campaign as we will be telling our own story.

For more information, or to apply, simply post a response to the application thread in the forums, send me a private message here on roll20, or shoot me a message on discord (Hakurai#9797) (Discord is the most effective method to get a quick response)

Look forward to playing with you. :)
