Age of Ashes

"Fires burn atop the ruined citadel on Hellknight Hill, sending plumes of red smoke into the air that could be a call for help. Within the old keep, strange invaders from a distant land, mysterious long-lost ruins, and the machinations of a shadowy organization await discovery. Something dire is building toward an apocalyptic event, and it falls to your characters to stop the end before it begins."

This is a Pathfinder 2nd ed. game running the Age of Ashes adventure path by Paizo. The campaign is designed to go from level 1-20 with four player characters.

A little information about me: I am a seasoned GM who started in high school about 15 years ago. I have experience running AD&D, D&D 3.5, WoD: Vampire the Masquerade, Rifts, and Pathfinder 1e. This is my first time running a PF 2nd edition game, so if you are new to the system or tabletop RPGs in general, no sweat, we'll be learning the mechanics together.

I will post an application link below. To apply, simply provide a brief introduction of yourself and tell me what character concept(s) you'd be interested in exploring this game. The most important thing I am looking for is reliability: our game will be running Thursdays from 5:00-9:00 pm EST and will likely span a few months. While it is unreasonable to expect 100% attendance (we all lead busy lives, get sick, or need to take the occasional self-care day!), I do expect you to make most games, especially in the beginning.

Our game will be using a mix of Roll20, and Discord for voice. To join this game, you need to be able to run both of those programs with a sufficient internet quality.

For character creation, all characters will start at level 1. For this game, the only sourcebook I allow is the core rulebook, and given that this is my first time with the system, I will not be allowing homebrew mechanics or abilities. That said, I am open to "reskinning" existing concepts (i.e. keeping the rules, but changing the cosmetics). Lastly, I also suggest that you consult the Age of Ashes Player's guide to help you conceptualize a character.
