Tomb of Annihilation

ORIGINAL POST:
A shocking rumour buzzes through the Forgotten Realms; a mysterious affliction is targeting those who have been raised from the dead. This wasting disease, which marches its victims back toward the death they once defied, has been dubbed the “death curse.” When this wretched sorcery claims a life, divine magic no longer revives them. Any others who fall to their demise, through natural or unnatural causes, is similarly lost to the living realm.

Hi,
I'm a relatively experienced DM (though new to Roll20), and I am looking to run the 5e Tomb of Annihilation module. I generally run narrative driven games with strong characters, and an emphasis on open-ended stories and innovative or unconventional solutions, such as condensing a horse and cart to teleport to a magical citadel, eating a bird and/or gemstone to gain power, or choke-slamming a dragon instead of seducing it.

I'm looking for 4-6 players who are willing to seriously engage with the story and character-driven style of DM-ing (except to make jokes or whatever, because that's fun), and who are interested in maintaining a long, weekly campaign. I expect to run Fridays, starting about 6:00PM BST (1:00PM EST).

Hi, due to external circumstances, some players have had to leave. The current group will be beginning their descent into the Tomb of the Nine Gods, after finding their way through a dangerous jungle, having made allies and enemies along the way, finding their way to the lost city of Omu, finding it overrun with nightmare-worshipping serpent people, the Yuan-Ti, who were hiding "puzzle cubes", nine keys of each of the lost Omuan gods to open up their tomb. Recently captured by the yuan-ti to forge an alliance with Fenthaza, the godhood-seeking speaker, after taking revenge upon the villainous Red Wizards, responsible for personal past atrocities. This alliance gained them the final cube, and information towards the entrance of the Tomb of Annihilation.
