Forbidden Lands

Welcome to the Forgotten lands. In this game you are not heroes sent on specific adventures or missions dictated by others (or the GM) – instead, you are bent on making your own mark on a cursed world. You will wander the wild lands, discover lost tombs, fight monsters, and, if you live long enough, build your own stronghold to defend. During your adventures, you will uncover the secrets of dark powers lurking in the shadows and, in the end you can be the ones to decide the fate of the Forgotten Lands. The player characters are always the protagonists of the story. The game is about you. Your decisions, your adventures.

EXPLORE THE WORLD
A red mist called the Demon Cloud has covered the land for over 300 years, draining the life out of anyone who dared to wander too far from their home or village all the while hampering contact with others and making contact between the different regions of the Forgotten Lands sporadic at best. The history of the land has been forgotten or become myth. Then one morning, the Demon Cloud that has covered the lands for centuries, suddenly and inexplicably lifted. Now, you, and other restless souls like you, are finally free to leave your homes and travel far and wide in the Forgotten Lands, looking for treasures and adventures.
