Hey there, gang! I've been a big fan of CollegeHumor's D&D actual play show, Dimension 20, for some time. Their 5th season, A Crown of Candy, I found particularly interesting, due in part to its setting, the world of Calorum. So, after some deliberation, I've decided to try out a little experiment and run a game set in that world. Currently looking for a fourth player, so let us know if you want in!
This campaign is certainly geared towards those who have seen the show, but it's open to all. And, for those who are perhaps unfamiliar, here's the TLDR. Calorum is a world in which the main food groups (fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy, proteins, and sugars) are represented by kingdoms (Fructera, Vegetania, Ceresia, The Dairy Islands, The Meat Lands, and Candia). Everything from the grass to the buildings to the people is made from food. But don't let the Candyland exterior fool you, a world of low magic and high lethality lies beyond the veil.
I'm interested to see how a more classical fantasy adventuring party would function in a world like Calorum. For those of you familiar with the source material, I'm thinking the campaign will take place between the Ravening War and the events of the Dimension 20. I hope to see you there!
