Oakland's Magic Academy

Greetings hopeful student to Oakland’s Magic Academy! Chances are you have recently turned fourteen and are of the minimum eligible age to join the academy, but if you are not, well that speaks of your abilities does it not?
If you are reading this letter it means you have been selected to participate in this year’s admission exam. It is entirely up to your choice if you decide to learn and improve this great talent you have, and our faculty will do its utmost to make you into a great promising magician by the time you have completed your studies in which not only will you learn how to control you abilities but will be able to join a team of your peers to go off into the field to put your magic into practice!

Greetings fellow internet user! This is Oakland's Magic Academy, the setting takes place in a world filled with rifts to other planes of existence, allowing for many races to meet and live within the world of Astram, as such when you make your character there is a lot to choose from, if you follow dnd 5e race descriptions and such you could even make your own!

This game will be a west marches style game, so players will be much of the driving force to push the story along, and as for when to play you can jump when you want with some of the other players and interact around.

The game has its own leveling up system that might be changed if we find any problems along the way but on the most part roleplay will take precedence over any roll.

As for players we need students, teachers and other members of faculty + artists to draw them and maps. Any players will have to submit the descripton of their characters plus an audition so we can review your mic quality and such as this is to be a series.
