Welcome to Jay's True Hidden Village! Home to an original Naruto 5e universe!

In this game you'll feel right at home as you live out your greatest fantasies of being a shinobi from the Hidden Leaf Village! You'll start as a Genin fresh out of the academy and start working to make a name for yourself in the ninja world, while experiencing events loosely based on the canonical Naruto timeline so there are surprises for both Naruto newcomers and veterans alike! In this world, the Hidden Leaf Village has remained on top, going as far as to put an end to the 2nd Great Shinobi War all of 7 years ago however, how long will this newfound peace last?

Here we have a strong focus on story that is built through your individual interactions with NPCs of various statures. No detail is left by the wayside as relationships established in-game will largely make or break your character as you truly get to know your fellow shinobi. Naturally, these bonds will be essential as you come face-to-face with new and increasingly difficult challenges that only shinobi with the strongest Will of Fire can overcome!

ABOUT ME (GM):
Hello, I'm Jay! I am the sole Game Master of this game! While I look forward to getting to know you, here's a little bit about me to start us off. I am actively a senior in college attending for a bachelor's degree in Game Design and Digital Animation, so I tend to create a lot of art (sometimes even of items & characters from our games!), try new games, and even create games when I find the time! I'm personally a big advocate of the idea that "small things make the big picture" in TTRPG games, as I find personal enjoyment in having my players discover things and connect the dots when necessary. I am personally a super big Naruto nerd, knowing the canon impeccably, as I admittedly even freaked out back when I discovered this system even existed! I have one year of experience Game Mastering for Naruto 5e (yet still equaling approx. +1,500 hours) and nearly 3 for a Pokémon system that goes by "PTU", both games which I'm excessively proud of.

FAQ:
What will be necessary for participation in this game?

Players will be required to use Discord for voice, custom Google Sheets for character sheets, and Roll20 for maps simultaneously. It is recommended you have a strong Internet connection come playtime.

What system is it? Do I need to know how to play already?

The system we'll be using is a variation of Dungeons & Dragons 5e, a link to it is at the bottom of this listing! And NO, newcomers are more than allowed, they are WELCOME!

Will I see my favorite Naruto characters? What is the world like?

Unfortunately, no. I've decided it'd be best to create entirely new casts of characters to keep things interesting, however you may find that some characters are heavily based on your favorites from the show/manga!
As for the world, you will be acting as Genin who are part of the 1st Generation to not be directly impacted or involved with the second of two consecutive "Hundred Year" wars, being the 1st & 2nd Great Shinobi Wars. Naturally, the impact of such extended wars has caused both social and political changes no one would have ever expected, and with that many secrets have been locked away and forgotten. As of now though, the Land of Fire, and more specifically the Hidden Leaf Village, has been on top of their game since the 2nd Great Shinobi War ended a mere 7 years ago! How much longer will this "peace" last?

It's a Paid Game, what is the fee?

$12 per (weekly) session. This game will be running on a weekly basis with the time being determined once players have been selected.

Why Pay? What am I getting?

You're getting an experienced GM who will do his absolute best to make sure you truly get the Naruto experience you deserve. What you are getting is 3 to 4 hours guaranteed hours a week of quality play time utilizing my resources of over 2,000 maps, dynamic lighting, several thousand tokens, and time spent planning to guarantee everyone has a good time. But no, really, aside from what every other GM under the Sun will tell you, what I have to offer goes beyond that. Given you're with me long enough, I will be able to create art pieces (see my animated Discord profile picture for a sneak peek @JayIzHere#0204) for both your individual character and the group so you can plaster them any and everywhere to show off your character!
