Setting Info:

For the past 50 years magic has become more and more unreliable. The elven forest that has stood since the beginning of time is starting to die. The Mage Towers that once were a center of power and learning are a shell of what they once were. Many wizards have blown themselves to pieces on the path to finding a way to correct the instability that plagues the bedrock of magic. will you brave the unsteady currents of magic?

In this setting, arcane and divine spells will have a 50% chance to fail and the other 50% chance of producing an unintended effect. Psychic magic is unaffected, but rare, and new to the world on the whole, and has no origins on the continent. Spell-like and supernatural abilities are also unaffected.

To the north sits what remains of Sylvar, the magical elven and fey forest. The eastern side of the forest burns day and night with the fires of the newly reactivated ancient volcano Syrreth. The western edges of the forest have started to warp and twist with the corrupted flows of magic.

To the west sits Star Harbor, the island metropolis, a hodgepodge of all the sentient races, it is the lord of all the Islands of the Western Sea. Star harbors Gnomish Navy has been in fierce conflict with the water elementals that surge up and down the rivers. Rumors abound about a Gargantuan beast that aids the gnomish navy. The gnomish king still has not been seen outside of his castle, though his brothers are often in charge of the fleets.

The center of the continent is overrun with air and lightning elementals, as well as undead remaining from the necromancer wars. Almost no one has traveled across the center of the lands, the few that survived the journey tell tails off a massive snake that guards the center of the ruined city of four kings against the elementals and the undead.

To the east sits Caemlyn the Shining Star of the Eastern Plains. the home of the horse lords Capital of Andor. The second-largest city in andor was destroyed 50 years ago and none have seen the horde of earth elementals since that day.

About Me:

Hi, I'm Anthony Ledel, 31 years old, and I have been GMing for over 10 years, mostly pathfinder, but I started with 3.0 back in high school. my world map is hand-drawn, all my dungeons are deadly, and I look to have about 5 players in each campaign with as many as 8 if everyone wants more party members.

I got my first job GMing professionally in July of 2017. GMing for a Pro League of Legends team. since then I have started many more traditional long-term campaigns.

House Rules:

1.  Paladins and Anti Paladins are not restricted to LG and CE  Paladins can be LG while being within 1 step of their Deity or can Exactly match their Deities Alignment.  Anti Paladins may be CE while being within 1 step of their Deity or can Exactly Match Their Deities alignment.

for traits pick 2 if you take a drawback you can pick 3
First HD is max after that you roll or take the Average if you roll less than it.
Average or Roll for gold your choice then Divide by 2

Unchained Rule: automatic-bonus-progression Inplace and all Gold Traits/Starting Wealth will be Halved
Using Half standard Wealth by level and Automatic Bonus Progression

Also added Stamina and Resolve from Star finder with everyone's resolve running off of Constitution.
Changed everyone's hit dice so that you Reduce the size by one step, but have a Stamina pool of dice, and a Health pool of dice.

So fighter 12 would have 12d8+ 12*Con mod Stamina points
and 12d8+ Racial Bonus Health Points for elves thats 4

Almost all damage goes from stamina first
Healing only heals hp
Temp Hp heals Stamina
and can spend 10 mins and 1 resolve to regain all you stamina. in addition to gaining it all over a long rest.
